Why MAGA Turning on Trump Might Not Be Good News [1]

So we’re all feeling our freude is a little more schaden these days, because some prominent MAGA supporters are finally starting to turn on Donald Trump. Dan Bongino now says Epstein was not murdered, but agrees that he committed suicide. Pam Bondi, one of Trump’s long-time besties, recently did a 180 and said there are “no Epstein files.” Trump backed Pammy up and went even further, insisting that the whole Epstein story was just a hoax by, guess who, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and the usual suspects. Yeah, that is working in our favor. Trump is dangerous, but he is also chaotic and self-absorbed. He cares more about TV ratings and other dicatators’ opinions of him than actually leading a real movement. He can’t manage a company, let alone a nation. Everything he does is optics and soundbites.
But, what happens when MAGA moves on and looks for someone new, with Trump-like charisma, but who’s actually smart, cunning, and knows how to wield power. Someone who doesn’t just want to play dictator on TV but actually knows how to be a dictator. That’s the real threat. Yes, Trump losing support might feel like a victory, but I’m not celebrating just yet. It can be a whole lot worse.
The American electorate has proved itself to be easily led bythe nose, and completely uninterested in educating itself. It’s only a matter of time before someone more intelligent than Trump figures out how to use that, and that will happen a lot faster than we can build an educated population.
