Marjorie Taylor Greene wants a new census now to count out immigrants [1]

The US census is done every 10 years. Marjorie wants to do a new one immediately so Representative districting will change in Republicans' favor because she only wants to count US citizens. Those who are just residents and undocumented immigrants need not apply.
Article 1, Section 2, says the enumeration shall be done every 10 years of all "persons." Then there's the birthright citizenship in the 14th Amendment. I can't even believe there are court cases about the 14th Amendment. It's a constitutional slam-dunk.
Donald Trump would be happy about the bill because it would give him one more method to disenfranchise blue states that have those pesky undocumented immigrants. She hasn't even written the bill yet, but she's talking about introducing a bill that doesn't exist.
The next day she did a second post riddled with misinformation. She apparently forgot that Donald Trump was president during the 2020 Census. Nobody has ever accused her of being intelligent.
People on X stuck her with a Community Note for her stupidity.
On her last post about it, she gave it a name. A stupid MAGA inspired name.
Nobody ever accused her of being creative, either. MAEGA. Sounds like "meager" with a slurred "r". Or the old Commodore Amiga game system.
How does she think that anything she could write, even with tons of help, work? She spent months, with help, writing a law to outlaw weather control. All she had to do was copy the law Florida had passed and put in "federal" instead of "state" notations. And it still took months.
She should go to Census.gov and learn something. There's a test being run next year for in six areas in preparation for 2030. They just want to keep doing it better each decade.
Republicans tried to put a bill through last year like Marjorie's, but it didn't make it past the Democratic Senate. It was called the Equal Representation Act. Maybe Marjorie is reusing that.
Do we have anything to worry about, when everything in her bill would be blatantly unconstitutional? In any other world, I would say no. In this world, unfortunately, anything can happen. We're living in a world controlled by Murphy's Law. If anything can go wrong, it will.
