There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paws.
Is it too early to think of Autumn? Was reminded last week as I came home from errands as a flock of geese had traffic paused so they could cross the street going back towards the river.
Is this a sign of better times to come? Only usually see this in mid or late Autumn. Weather is really too hot right now—oh, please Mother Nature please bring me good news.
How lovely to be greeted each morning to lovely fall colors and cool breezes? Will fall really come early this year? Or is this just Mother Nature saying its coming, be patient.
Finally the heat dome has exited the oak prairie, greeted by cooler weather with low humidity today, feels almost cool after upper 90’s temps and heat indexes at 100+. Electric bill will be outrageous after 3 weeks of the air conditioner and only shut down this past Monday morning.
Or is this just a sign of climate change and many other of nature’s once this way and now that.
Mother Nature I do believe you sent me a glimpse of what, in couple of months, will be my most favorite time of year, until then I will pray to you for patience.

Not sure where this photo is from, however IMHO its the best natural representation of Mother Nature I’ve yet seen. So as I pray every day Hurry Autumn, this, in my minds eye, will be the diety to whom my wishes will be sent.
Yes, a little more reflective today, considering the devastation Texas has brought upon itself, as of this Friday morning 9 am CST, 120 dead in Texas. Have a care, Texas; for want of only a few cents tax per person Texas could have had a flood warning system/ siren. So the Texas governor adamantly insists the search will not end till all missing have been found, yet wouldn’t it not have been so much easier, and yes, for maga’s even cheaper, if there had not been so many dead?
Really worth the lives of so many people amongst them so many children Texas, for a few cents tax? Have a care, Texas. Have a care, Texas.
