Hello again and welcome to this follow-up to my previous short diary bemoaning the loss of literacy and reading stamina in these trying times.
It seems my diary got lost in the shuffle and was quickly out of sight and out of mind. Undaunted I am back with more typing as well as some images to help create some interest in my collection of books. As stated last time I am hoping that those who are composing diaries or writing elsewhere will see these vintage books as useful sources of information to bolster their efforts. The collection is a very eclectic mix and is organized is various categories such as
Biographies and Memoirs
History/Historical Events
Political
China
Sustainable Living/Climate
Antiquarian and Collectible
Fiction
Nonfiction
So there you see a small sample of the books that are available from my store. There are more than 1000 listed and hundreds more on the way as time permits.
With the volume of diaries on this site so large and the topical ones getting the most attention it is difficult to get any attention for this diary. I’m hoping that I can generate some grassroots help from folks who belong to groups focused on books and reading to get the word out that way.
