Trump's Propaganda Machine [1]

There a number of Trump branded X accounts that represent Donald. Then there's Homeland Security. And the Dept. of Justice. And one for every department and agency along with their official .gov webpage. Then there all the Secretary, Director and agency head accounts Not a single one appears to have a Bluesky account, after testing many using the X account name.

They put out disinformation and and other garbage that takes too much time to do on a secure web page.

The worst of the lot are DoDRapidResponse for the Dept. of Defense, and RapidResponse47 that puts out stuff Trump would never put up on Truth Social. Last is WhiteHouse that defends every Trump move, sometimes worse than what RapidResponse47 does.

Just to give you a sampling of what they do. Here three in a day that upset me greatly. This one Inspired the diary.

This is so disgusting. It's worse than the Trump Pope picture:

They think this is funny having a school bus hit by a train. This has happened many times in reality. I found a bunch of pictures of real wrecks. This is real picture. I even found a video of it. A bunch of undocumented kids getting killed is funny to this White House. All in caps, like Trump wrote it.

Lee Zeldin is just ignoring EPA regulations to fast-track permitting so coal and gas fired polluting power plants can be built just to power AI and data centers.

He's foaming at the mouth proud of it.

By now you've seen stories of how FEMA response was delayed because Kristi Noem has to sign off on everything. Doesn't work well, and it didn't work well in Kerr County, Texas. So, they have to do damage control.

The CNN story is true, but they think they can discount it by calling it fake news. Nobody believes that anymore, except Trump and his administration, MAGA faithful and Fox News.

Then Rabid Response has to do further damage control while Noem looks like a deer caught in the headlights.

They think we're all stupid. That we only listen to faux news. There are so many indicators of where things are going. The million dollars that Kerr County didn't get for an early morning system. National Weather Service emergency coordinators pushed out of their jobs. Satellites being shut down that are needed for hurricane prediction. The list goes on and on where real science is being replaced by pseudoscience.

You've got FCC chairman Brendan Carr touting that they're helping rural America with broadband internet access, when they shut down the whole program and wanted to sell it off to Starlink. He's also quite proud of taking any communications company to task for diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. He's proud of hate speech that Europe is clamping down on, saying it's censorship.

There are also all the accounts of GOP senators and representatives. Simply a huge trove of misinformation, hate speech, racism, and worse, all inspired by Donald Trump, because they know there is no blowback or punishment. Well, that's not entirely true, because even mainstream media watches what they put on their accounts, especially for the leaders and the firebrands. But whatever it is, it blows over quickly and the media are onto the next story.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was censured in 2021 by the House of Representatives, but that was for things she said before she was elected. Since then, she's been rewarded with committee positions, including being the chair of the DOGE subcommittee. She's back in the news because of her House bill to outlaw weather control and geoengineering. She just saw one too many of those jet plane contrails, and the new improved versions of the Jewish space lasers.

But lookie here with the stupidest man in the House, Tim Burchett.

Tim knows everything. Of course, the evidence would have been destroyed by the Biden Administration on day one, and now there's nothing in documentation left to show their collusion with Epstein. The proof, to him, is that if there was anything on Trump, it would have been out years ago. Proving the negative is so easy.

Then they put up propaganda graphics that people can print out.

I'd rather they lie down in a bathtub full of it.

Here's an interesting occurrence. I wrote about the insane tariff letter Trump sent to Brazil. I can no longer get to Trump's or anyone else's Truth Social homepage, but I found that Roll Call has a repository of Trump's posts that gets new ones in a minute or less after he posts them.

The post with the letter to Brazil has been deleted. Deleted at Truth Social, but Roll Call still has a record that it was there. It's silly because there are millions of places that have copies of the letter on the internet.

There's the official White House YouTube channel, where they put up videos defending the undefensible. They've got 2.6 million followers. They put up a series of cartoons and clips defending the Big Ugly Bill. One was particularly offensive of a Black guy trash talking someone against the bill and throwing him to the ground. There are YouTube channels for many of the agencies. The Department of Defense finds that they need to defend themselves many times. They've only got 290,000 followers.

There are also Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts for all of the same. It must be a massive amount of time and money being devoted to all this social media.

For the White House alone, it's all directed by the Office of Digital Strategy. I didn't know it existed until now. I can't find out who the current Chief Digital Officer is. No matter. They report to Susie Wiles and there were 20 people doing work in the Office for the Biden administration. I would expect that has increased under Trump.

Each agency has it's own communications director and it appears, digital strategy as well. It used to be a way to get out important information. Under the new Trump administration, it's all propaganda.

The point is that the Trump administration is pushing out propaganda at a furious rate. That's because they need to. How effective is the propaganda?

We see people that have been told not to believe their lying eyes and ears, and they do it. How do we counteract this stream of lies and ugliness? What we have always done. Write the truth. We are all accused of writing to choir. But, sometimes it spreads. That's why Daily Kos is being investigated, I'm guessing, by the Department of Justice. Daily Kos suddenly became important enough to be noticed.

You fight propaganda with facts. Trusted sources. Knowing the difference between right and wrong. Good vs. evil. The truth will set you free. We have find ways to stop Trump's propaganda dead in it's tracks, and get his MAGA faithful to think. That's the hardest part.
