Good News - and Travel [1]

Ok.
This is just a quick survey to find out who is interested in regenerative and sustainable travel.
Yeah — I know. This is 99.9% a political site. But, travel is political. We research where to go and sometimes those decisions are based on politics. They shouldn’t be, but it is what it is. Frankly, I was in Hungary helping close friends get out from under the bombs to save their children from the trauma. I would never travel to Hungary otherwise. I don’t like the regime in Türkiye, but I work with people — and remember that close to 50% hate Erdogan — who hold a similar view, but also need to live.
Please don’t turn this into a purity test. Those are for mediocracies. I am far to the left of many here — but being old with a memory gives me certain advantages. I believe in slices of the sausage.
So. If you are interested in learning about the subject, I am happy to take the time to write an article or ten. We are a curious species. Travel is an education.
Oh — this is a lot of work, by the way. I need to have a tipping point — 50 “yes” would do.
