Fingerprints of the climate change are all over the place, yet many, especially fossil fuel fans, continue to deny, delay improvement and attempt to drag us backwards……trillions in stranded resources drives this, well and greed and the old saying “It is hard for a man to see a problem when his paycheck depends on not seeing it”.
The recent flood, of “biblical” proportions, has the fingerprint of climate change, human caused climate change.

Rescue crews are scrambling to find survivors of catastrophic flooding that tore through Central Texas on the Fourth of July. It’s already one of the deadliest flood events in modern American history, leaving at least 95 people dead, 27 of whom were girls and counselors at a Christian summer camp
Sudden, rapid, flooding events was a noted marker of rapid human caused climate change over 30 years ago; and it was also linked to prolonged drought events (the west is in a extended drought right now).
But generally speaking, this disaster has climate change’s marks all over it — a perfect storm of conspiring phenomena, both in the atmosphere and on the ground. “To people who are still skeptical that the climate crisis is real, there’s such a clear signal and fingerprint of climate change in this type of event,” said Jennifer Francis, senior scientist at the Woodwell Climate Research Center.

As the climate has warmed, as the Gulf of Mexico has warmed up, more and more moisture is in the atmosphere and when these storms roll inland and collide with storms rolling in from the Pacific you have a “100 years event”…..only now they are becoming every year events.

Second, stop voting for climate deniers and conspiracy nutters who want to defund the very government agencies we need to “beef up” such as NOAA, NWS, FEMA…..Mother Nature gives a rats patootie about so called “Woke and DEI” culture war crap.
Third, well, decouple from oil, coal, gas as much as possible…..stop burning it for dogs sake.
Walk a little more, Bike a little more, put up your own solar panels, get more efficient appliances (yes with The tRump Tax Tariffs it will cost more).
Fourth, and some will freak on this, eat less beef…..is has the largest Greenhouse Gases / Climate change footprint….sorry just a math thing.
And relax a little knowing that in many ways things are getting better, we just have to keep improving things in spite of the Merchants of Death and thier death cults.

Think locally, especially cities which are leading the fight on the climate war and the federalies cannot stop them at the moment. So work locally and think nationally.
