Trump has said at least four times his dad was born in Germany. Let's look at Trump's dad,Fred. There is nothing found showing Fred became a citizen through a citizenship procedure after getting older. Of course after World War I they wouldn't want paperwork to show your family was German and Trump was taught to lie that his father was Swiss.

When Trump's mom got her citizenship it may have been stating she'd been married for three years. But it would have to be to an American citizen.

So Trump's mom may have lied on her citizenship papers . Her husband wasn’t an American citizen. Trump's father and grandfather lied to everyone that they were Swiss. That may have kept them from deportation of his granddad and dad back to Germany during World War I and II And maybe they knew to pay some bribes.

Trump's older sister was born when their mom definitely wasn't a citizen. And maybe fraudulently was thought to be a citizen when she wasn't legally when Trump was born.

The upshot? Trump's parents were “illegal immigrants” (really undocumented.} One way his family feels sorry for itself must be they have gotten hate as German enemies as Germans were our enemies and even some for a Gaelic accent. His family needed to emphasize their whiteness so Trump's dad Fred Trump was jailed for a KKK violent event in 1925. His racism may center not just on long held German attitudes but trying to shield their Germanness when our counties were at war. A belief that white skin shields them during that time from millions and millions killed in those wars would have made sense to them.

If they go after birthright citizenship not just going forward but illegally looking at the past?

We can deport Trump. And since he was illegal when birthright is repealed then all his kids are. Ivanka wasn't from the USA. They'll make birthright citizenship illegal and also do it retroactively. They are thinking why not? His political rivals, maybe Elon Musk would be hot to apply it to Trump?

For Trumps grandfather, he wasn't an American. His grandfather spent time in Alaska so maybe a citizen but he went back to Germany. The Germans deported his grandfather back to the USA because he made his money from brothels.
