Supreme Court allows treasonous, corrupt Trump to proceed with massive federal workforce cuts [1]

The rabidly extreme, partisan right-wing Court today lifted the previous court order which had blocked 19 federal departments and agencies from shredding their workforces.
The majority once again granted Trump’s request, and allows the lawless, bigoted, cognitively failing imbecile and his chickenshit, morally bankrupt enablers to implement Trump’s February 11 DOGE executive order . Like so
many of its other decisions, this ruling takes effect while ongoing litigation slowly, so slowly works its way through the system. In the meantime, it may very well result in the firings of hundreds of thousands of federal workers
One justice — Justice Jackson dissented. One. Sheoffered a lengthy dissent, which can be found here. Her dissent is worth reading in full, including: “… with scant justification, the majority permits the immediate and potentially devastating aggrandizement of one branch (the Executive) at the expense of another (Congress), and once again leaves the People paying the price for its reckless emergency-docket determinations.”
Among other things, and repeatedly noting this administration’s intent to fundamentally restructure the federal government, it concludes “in my view, this decision is not only truly unfortunate but also hubristic and senseless.
Justice Sotomayor agreed with Jackson that “the president cannot restructure federal agencies in a manner inconsistent with congressional mandates.” But concurred with the majority’s decision allowing Trump and his cronies to proceed, noting that the reorganization and reduction in force plans “themselves are not before this court at this stage and thus we have no occasion to consider whether they can and will be carried out consistent with the constraints of law.”
What this ignores, of course, is the catastrophic harm that this may do — immediately — to thousands or tens of thousands of families in the interim. Who may have their lives uprooted and face job and health care losses. And if — if — the relevant litigation eventually does reach this corrupt court in a year or two or three….. and even if Trump and his rabidly extreme anti government nuts are found to have acted illegally, real and permanent damage will have been done to hundreds of thousands of people.
