My greatest disappointment [1]

I have in my lifetime had three or four unjustifiable wars started by the US and sold to our citizenry by a compliant media and corrupt/clueless political elite.
What hurts most about this is that the Democrats, the party of George McGovern, who used to represent peace and sanity has not only gone along for the ride, but helped lead the parade.
I’m especially disgusted by the left’s (especially Daily Kos’) wholesale cheerleading for the corrupt, autocratic Kiev regime. Zelenski ran on a peace platform but then became an instrument of neocon Victoria Nulands wacko scheme to overthrow the Russian government.
just to add some history: Crimea was Russian since Catherine the great (c 1680), until it was made part of Ukraine in 1956 by Nikita Kruschev Russian dictator, who happened to be Ukrainian. During the period from 2014, when Nuland, with the assistance of the CIA-and some local fascists overthrew the elected but admittedly corrupt pro Russian government, 14,000 Russian speaking civilians in Donbas and Luhansk were bombed and killed by Kiev forces. There’s more, and I’m happy to respond to questions/comments.
