x UPDATE: This just got worse. Donald Trump apparently cut a secret side deal for MILLIONS in pro-Trump ads. That would mean Paramount and its soon-to-be owner are shelling out $30 MILLION+ to support Trump—all while trying to get his approval on their merger.
Is this bribery?

This is what you have to pay.’ So, we’re, as far as I’m concerned, we’re done. We’re sending out letters to various countries, telling them how much tariffs they have to pay. Some will maybe adjust a little bit depending if they have a, you know, cause. We’re not gonna be unfair about it. And actually, it’s a small fraction compared to what we should be getting. We should be. We could be asking for much more. But for the sake of relationships that we’ve had with a lot of really good countries, we’re doing the way I do it. But we could be getting a lot more. Yesterday saw a short parade of quasi military force through MacArthur Park in LA, on foot, horseback, and in vehicles that the mayor said resembled tanks.
x Military documents confirm that the LA operation today was a “show of presence” intended to send a message to LA residents about the power of the federal government. After staging with armed soldiers and Border Patrol agents on horse, they packed up and left after a short walk.

Angelenos turned out soon after and then organized an interesting protest.
More advice on how to help a target of ICE. It’s important that ICE have not only a warrant, but specifically a judicial warrant. They sometimes use official looking warrants that are not valid.
x Hold the targeted person's hand. They'll have to assault a citizen to kidnap another. Without a real warrant they have no authority. Know what a fake one looks like. (I know a little, and you need a warrant. That says warrant but it doesn't give you authority here.) #ice #usPolitics
