When Fascism comes to America [1]

I did this illustration early in 2025, and hadn't had the courage to post it. In a country like U.S. where my freedom of expression is guaranteed in the First Amendment of the constitution, I shouldn't be afraid to offer an opinion. I lean to the left. It comes with being labor working for various large entertainment corporations for 33 years and an artist ( mind you being a female adds to that too). My images express my thoughts and attitude towards the current administration.

The saying is attributed to H.L. Menken from 1920. The term fascism was defined by Benito Mussolini's follower's around 1915. The red, white, and blue, behind Trump is the Russian flag. Considering the way he is behaving towards the country that has proven to be this one’s enemy time and time again, for supposedly not being a Russian operative, he sure acts like one.

Go ahead and pass this art around if you care to. Poking the bear with humor is the best way I know to fight when a brush and pen is all that I have to muster.
