Remember at the start of the war how Russia would store tons and tons of ammo in one place, leading to some really awesome fireballs — and the holy appearance of Ammo Dump Jesus.

Remember how they learned their lesson and spread the ammo out instead?

Check out the blast wave as it moves through water vapor in the air.

Russia loses another general. Good riddance.

Still haven’t seen any confirmation or denial of the death of Vice Admiral Ildar Akhmerov from yesterday.

x FAT TARGET! Confirmed: Maj. Gen Mikhail Gudkov, Commander of the RF's 155th Marine Brigade and, since March 2025, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, was eliminated by an AFU strike on a command center in Korenevo, Kursk Oblast, Russia. #OSINT #UkraineRussiaWar

Other Russian officers will be joining Gudkov in hell.

x /2. As its now claimed by Russian sources, 4 HIMARS missiles were fired at the Russian base in Korenevo, Kursk Region. Various Russian sources report from 10 to more than 20 Russians killed in the attack, many of whom were officers. — 🦋Special Kherson Cat🐈🇺🇦 (@specialkhersoncat.bsky.social) July 3, 2025 at 4:55 AM

Gudkov and his officers will have even more company in hell.

In Louisiana this is called crawfishing — backing up in a defensive position.

Colby is getting a lesson about the underside of a bus.

Another defense manufacturing plant is hit. This time it is in Yelets, which is about 190 km northeast of the city of Kursk.

x 🎉 At night, strike drones attacked the Energia plant in Yelts, Lipetsk region, — SBS. ❗️The enterprise mass-produces batteries and accumulators for the Iskander-M OTRK, Kh-35U sea-based cruise missiles, UMPK and energy modules for special complexes.

The strike in Yelets is captured on video by a Russian who laughs and declares it a fun spectacle.

Three Russian Shaheds struck a military recruitment center in Poltava.

x Three Shahed drones struck a military enlistment office building in Poltava one after another. Local media report that the city suffered a massive drone attack. This is the second such attack on a recruitment center in the past week. The previous one targeted the agency’s building in Kryvyi Rih.

A gunpowder factory caught fire too.

x In Kotovsk (Russia), a familiar factory is on fire again. The Governor of Tambov region says the gunpowder plant caught fire due to "a violation of technological processes" killing 3 people. Smoking on the job? So maybe Ukraine's drones weren't needed this time though they were active.

The last time the gunpowder plant was hit (by Ukrainian drones) these priests marched around town to invoke God’s divine intervention. I guess they just got their reply.

x #EATP (Everything According To Plan) for Putin. The 'master strategist' always envisaged, after 40 months of war, religious leaders would march around towns praying for divine help in stopping Ukraine drones😅 Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, after its gunpowder factory was hit.

x Andrey Kostin, Chairman of the Board of Russian VTB Bank, explained that the issues in Russian economy are caused by military spending and sanctions:

What do you do when no one is buying your product? Raise prices, of course!

x 🤨 The price tags on Russian civilian aircraft have soared by up to 70% over the past two years, despite the fact that most models have yet to enter serial production or gain traction on the global market.

Germany steps up pressure on the shadow tanker fleet.

This wouldn’t be a problem if the owners of those shadow fleet tankers would just bundle their home and auto with Progressive.

x Germany to step up tanker inspections to counter Russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Baltic Sea Following a similar move by Sweden, vessels transiting the Fehmarn Belt will now need to present valid insurance papers, which "shadow fleet" ships often lack.

Eric Schmidt is the former CEO of Google whose company produces AI-equipped combat drones.

x Today in Denmark, Ukrainian Defense Minister signed a memorandum with Swift Beat CEO Eric Schmidt to scale up drone production for Ukraine.

[image or embed] — 🦋Special Kherson Cat🐈🇺🇦 (@specialkhersoncat.bsky.social) July 3, 2025 at 7:32 AM

Here is some info on the company’s drones.

Schmidt's drones are equipped with advanced AI algorithms for visual targeting, navigation, and autonomous decision-making. These innovations enable the drones to operate effectively in contested environments, where traditional communication and GPS signals may be jammed. …. - The drones are designed to be mass-produced at a low cost, with some models estimated to cost around $400 each. This affordability allows Ukraine to deploy large numbers of drones, potentially overwhelming Russian defenses. - Schmidt's vision includes creating swarms of inexpensive, autonomous drones that can communicate and coordinate with each other, even if some are shot down.

Considering how unreliable and unpredictable supplies of expensive air defense weapons from the West have become, this is a smart move by Ukraine.

x "We need to make it so the Russians cry bitter tears, so they’re afraid to take flight," said one financier of the new interceptor drones taking out Russian UAVs.

I’ve lost track of how many different drones Ukraine has developed. That’s a good sign.

x Ukraine has developed a multifunctional UAV called “POP Fly,” which serves as an analogue to the Switchblade. The reconnaissance version has a range of 100–120 km, while the strike version ranges from 50–100 km depending on the warhead (2.5–5 kg).
