Compare and contrast, George III and Trump [1]

Mother Jones did something interesting for the 4th of July. They read the Declaration of Independence’s list of grievances against George III and compared them to what Trump has already done.

I will highlight one. That particular mad king drew a grievance that he was “transporting us beyond Seas, to be tried for pretended offenses”. At least the victims of George III got trials.

This could be a good thing to point out to your Representative and Senators. We can still get our current mad king out peacefully, if a handful of Republicans vote to invoke the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment.
