The first half of Maria Bartiromo's interview with Donald was dedicated to the attack on Iran, the butter bunker busters, and tariffs.

Maria: Moving, going to the big beautiful bill. You have asked to get it by July 4th. Are you going to get it in that timing?

Trump: I don't know. I'd like to say yes.... as long as we have it. It's very important. If we don't have it there's a 68% tax increase. If we don't have it --- the debt ceiling extension is very important.

Trump once again comes up with the incredible 68% tax increase. No one has any idea what he's talking about, and no reporter is cornering him on it. Maria just lets it slide right on by. And he still keeps calling it a debt ceiling extension instead of the debt limit that the rest of the world uses.

Trump: The debt ceiling the Republicans gave --- because they do that, they do that for the good of the country. And the Republicans voted for that. They did a big favor --- I don't know if I would have done it to be honest, but whatever. Now, the Democrats won't do that favor back. You don't want to violate your debt governance…They're a lot of bad people in the Democrat Party.

Nobody is even talking about the debt ceiling yet. We're dealing with the Big Ugly Bill instead. And somebody needs to hit him with a rubber chicken. It's the Democratic Party.

Maria: How are you going to deal with the 9 trillion dollars (in debt) that's coming due this year?

Trump: We're gonna turn it over. We're gonna turn it over short-term because we have a stupid person at the Fed. If he would lower the rates, but I don't want to have to pay for 10 years --- this is debt, at a higher rate. ... Without the United States, the whole world doesn't work.

Trump goes into his gripe routine about Jerome Powell, the chairman of the Federal Reserve. Maria asks him why he's talking about replacing Powell and throwing out some names. Trump doesn't really respond. Maria brings up that many senators that are really concerned about the cost of the big ugly bill.

Trump: The Inflation Reduction Act is what caused a problem for a lot of things.

Maria: What about the green subsidies?

Trump: I'm all for that. We shouldn't be giving money to all of these scams. But what happened is that some of them got started. You can't stop them in the middle. But I understand that. And they're working in a district of a congressman or a senator. No, no, the Inflation Reduction Act was another Biden scam. And when I say Biden, it wasn't Biden. It was the other lunatics that worked in the White House office around the Resolute Desk. I don't think Biden knew it was happening. I think the autopen is one of the biggest scandals in the history of this country. Because the person who operated the autopen was the President of the United States. And I think that's going to be sought out, and I think we're going to find out what happened.

Marie talks about how a year ago, at the debate, everyone found out Biden's real condition and how Comer is now running a investigation and Maria asks Trump who he'd like to see testifying.

Trump: I would say Lisa, who was in there... Lisa Monaco. Was a big supporter of Andrew Weissman. These are people that I think are very bad people. They had radical left lunatics working there. And they took over that office. They didn't want Biden and then after a little while they realized he was incompetent and that was really a good thing. And they ran that thing --- look, Biden was never for open borders, Biden was never for transgender for everyone, he was never for men playing in women's sports. Biden is a disaster.

As the interview goes on, Trump just gets worse with his stump speech idiocies. Maria never questions, never stops him like she was doing about the attack on Iran, and the big ugly bill. This stupid autopen running the country is something he's still trying to push so he can invalidate Biden's pardons of his family and the January 6th committee and other select folks on Trump's enemies list.

Trump: We have no respect around the world for the country but now we do.

Okay, Donald, which is it? No respect or respect?

Trump: We took it from the lowest level to the highest in 6 months. But -but -- if you look at what he did to the border --- so bad --- so much of my time is spent on the border.

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of Trump at the border since he became president again. He's got flunkies like Kristi Noem and Tom Homan to do his dirty work there. But, he's not spending any Oval Office time on it because Stephen Miller is doing it all for him.

Trump: He let in 21 million people. Totally unchecked. Totally unvetted, totally unchecked. And 11,888 have murdered people.

Trump repeats this lie over and over and over again. Next up he's going to say that 50% of them have killed more than one person. I predict that without even having watched that part of the clip. It's so predictable.

Trump: Half of them have murdered more than one person. Coming from gangs, coming from prisons, emptying --- Venezuela emptied their prisons.

Maria asks him if he's changing his policy because he said that he wouldn't be going after people in the fields and in hotels.

Trump: I don't back away --- I cherish our farmers and when we go into a farm and we take away people that have been working there 15 or 20 years and may have possibly come in incorrectly --- and what we're going to do is we're going to do something for farmers --- let the farmers sort of be in charge --- he's not going to hire a murderer.

I don't think he could possibly get more incoherent than this. He has no idea what he means or what he is saying.

Trump: I'm the strongest immigration guy that has ever been, but I'm also the strongest farmer guy that's ever been and that includes hotels and where people work.... we're going to work it so there's a temporary pass, they pay taxes where the farmer and have a little control as opposed you walk in and take everybody away.

Can anyone make heads or tails of what he's saying there? As I transcribe what he says, I can see how incoherent he is. But people just nod their heads and go, sure.

Then he goes and blames the whole thing on Biden again, where earlier he said Biden didn't want open borders. He constantly contradicts himself and people don't catch it. Reporters don't catch it.

Trump: I'm telling you a lot of -- the Congo --- we just made a deal with the Congo to stop the war. They would empty their prisons into the United States. A lot of countries, not just South America --- Africa, Asia, Europe, rough parts of Europe their prisons were emptied into the United States and the people, you saw the people --- and to me that's a sin you can never forget, we can never forget. We can never forget what Biden and the lunatics that worked for him have done for our country.

Don't you just love how Trump confuses countries with continents? And those rough parts of Europe. The last thing the man should talk about is sin.

Trump talks about the Congo and Rwanda and says that the war has been going on for 30 years. This current war is only been going since 2022. There have been multiple wars for short times since the nighties, but they have not been continuous.

Maria: July 9th is coming up. What are you going to do with the pause of the tariffs?

Trump: It's so simple. We're sending letters out. I want to do it now. I have great guys. Scott, Howard, other people, Jameson. They're talking to all these countries. We made a deal pretty much with India. We made a deal with China. We made a deal with UK, great people. We made deals. But I'd rather send them a letter, a very fair letter, congratulations we're going to allow you to trade in the United States of America and you're going to pay a 25% tariff or 20% or 40 or 50%.

Sure, diplomacy by a letter. He's so used to giving edicts on Truth Social that he doesn't know how to talk to people or have talks with people anymore. I love the congratulations part. Congratulations, we're going to screw you royally.

Maria: You're not going to extend the pause?

Trump: I don't think I'll need to. I could. It's no big deal. It's like TikTok, I'm extending that. But no big deal, we've got a buyer for TikTok. By the way, I'll need China approval, but President Xi will probably do it.

Maria: Who's the buyer?

Trump; I'll tell you in about 2 weeks.

Maria: A big technology company?

Trump: Wealthy people. It's a group of very wealthy people.

Trump: You've got 200 countries. You can't talk to all of them. We'll send a letter, we consider it a great honor, this is what you have to do to shop in --- we're a department store and you shop in the United States and you pay a 25% tariff and we wish you a lot of luck and that's the end of the trade deal.

We're back to trade deals by letter. Why doesn't he just do it by social media and make it simpler. He can just put up one post on Truth Social telling those 200 countries they're screwed.

Then Trump launches into that if he hadn't been elected president, the country would be a s*** hole. He didn't use that word but it simplifies things a great deal.

Maria: We don't have the clarity of what you're going to do with the expiration of these pauses. July 9th and August 12th. With China. You're going to send a letter?

Trump; I'm going to send letters. That's the end of the trade deal. I could send one to Japan. Dear Mr. Japan, here's the story, you're going to pay a 25% tariff on your cars. So we give Japan no cars, they won't take our cars.

Mr. Japan. That's a new one. You're going to send Japan a letter. You're going to send China a letter. This is a man who supposedly knows how to do business? Whatever happened to that art of the deal? There were supposed to be trade deals with all these countries, and now he's going to send them a letter instead.

Trump: We don't need to meet. We've got all the numbers. And we're going to say congratulations, you're allowed to shop in the United States of America and you're going to pay a 25% tariff or a 35% or a 50 percent or 10%.

Maria brings up the different tariffs to Japan and South Korea and what about the tariffs on our cars coming into those countries. Trump says they're not going to even have to worry about that because they're going to be selling all their cars in the United States. That's going to be news to them.

All of a sudden the amount of investments in the United States from foreign countries has gone from 5 trillion up to 15 trillion dollars.

Trump: I'm a cheerleader for the country along with everything else. Like you are. We brought respect back and dignity back. When I went to the European --- A wonderful place, with a king and queen and that's like, when I went to the Netherlands and looked, everybody was coming up and saying Mr. President. Mr President. They didn't do that a year ago or two years ago or 3 years ago… this is the big countries. This is Germany and France and all of them. I mean a big group of countries. They respect America again. They laughed at us. They thought we were a joke. We had a president that was falling down stairs falling on stages couldn't find an exit couldn't find a little --- made a speech that lasted half a minute he's looking around and he sees six different stairs, we were laughed at all over the world.

There was no one who laughed at Joe Biden on the international scene. Taking his slight frailty and turning it into video loops doesn't make it happen every single time. Trump is imagining this about Joe because he is so small and petty. Nobody laughed at the United States then. Trump and the United States are now the laughing stock he said Biden made it. Projection. We have to live with this reputation he's created. That MAGA has created

Maria asks Trump about the loss of jobs because of AI efficiency and Trump seem to think it was a perfect time because of all the new jobs it was going to create. Then things go south as he talks about AI facilities would have their own power source. Lee Zeldin at the EPA would just get rid of restrictions so they could burn coal, gas, oil, whatever fossil fuels are available.

Trump: I said Lee, you're going to approve this stuff fast. Make sure it's safe, make sure it's good but you've got to get it done fast. Cuz you know it how it works in China? You've got one day it's called President XI, bong, it's okay.

Then he launches into his diatribe about clean beautiful coal. How China is opening up 59 plants this year using coal. That's not a good thing Donald. That's very bad.

Trump: I don't want windmills destroying our place. The solar things and they go on for miles and cover up half a mountain and they're ugly as hell, and by the way the panels and the windmills are all made in China, okay?

Donald Quixote doesn't want windmills. He still hasn't learned the words "wind turbines" yet. It's because he doesn't understand the technology. He hates them because they are ruining the view from his golf course in Scotland. That, and, of course, the noise causes cancer and they're killing whales, and birds.

Maria's show is in hour long. I can't find out whether the long clip is actually his whole interview. But it stopped without a proper ending so there's probably more. As it is, I think I've had enough for today.

As you read Trump's words, you realize how disjointed they are. When he actually sounds like he knows what he's doing or talking about, that's actually bad news.

The tariff letters to countries. If that doesn't make us the laughing stock of the world, I can't think of another way to do it. Presidents and prime ministers will open these with great trepidation. Fearing the United States isn't what world trade and world governance is all about.

TikTok in two weeks.

Cherish farmers.

AI pollution centers.

68% tax increase.

Killer windmills.

He is getting worse every day. He is the one making the US a laughing stock.

And Joe didn't do it.
