Rick Taylor was abruptly detained while standing in the security line & taken to a holding room.

Ironically, it was his wife—born in Vietnam and now a U.S. citizen—who had feared being flagged herself during the family trip with their daughter.

Rick Taylor ran Sen. Padilla's earlier campaign for city council—and worked for many of California’s most powerful political figures over the past 40 years.
