"Sleazebags" say Trump is giving $30 billion to Iran [1]

Donald Trump took 6 hours to respond to a CNN report that spread like wildfire about Trump discussing giving Iran access to $30 billion to build a civilian nuclear energy program. Also part of the changes were easing sanctions and giving Iran access to frozen funds. Trump lashed out on Truth Social:
"Who in the Fake News Media is the SleazeBag saying that 'President Trump wants to give Iran $30 Billion to build non-Military Nuclear facilities.'"
Trump forgot the question mark. He knows very well who said it. It was the legwork of 4 of CNN's reporters who made a convincing case that Trump had done just that.
Yesterday, Trump talked about honey and vinegar, and the changes in policy were the means to get Iran to the negotiating table with some honey.
The CNN article is very detailed on all the options and how they could come about. With this much detail, it is impossible for multiple sources to all be wrong.
"Never heard of this ridiculous idea "
Even when his administration may be actually doing something right, Trump has to deny it because it was leaked. He's going to be furious about this one. We'll probably hear from Kash Patel soon, unless no one calls it a leak.
"It's just another HOAX put out by the Fake News in order to demean."
Besides "obliterated," his new favorite verb is "demean," like demeaning the B-2 fighter pilots, which never happened. Trump has a good idea here, but now he probably won't follow through on it.
"These people are SICK!"
Sicko sleazebags. He's used "sick" a lot recently, too. He is obviously as mad as hell that the story got out.
This time the story of what Trump is/was planning is good. Turning Iran into a peaceful state no longer supporting terrorism through proxies, and doing it, is itself an exemplary goal.
But he'll just have to screw things up again, just like pulling out of the original Obama JCPOA agreement had to be done because Obama did it. Not because it wasn't working. We wouldn't be in the situation we are today, which Trump created, if he had left things alone.
Trump always claims that he alone can fix it. Time to put up or shut up.
