4th of July, Resignation Day [1]

As the 4th of July is just around the corner, there are two ways to view the title of this entry.
Either we will be resigned to our looming fate
Or we will demand this administration resign
Because there is nothing to celebrate, that independence we had is gone! I suppose we could throw a funeral for it on July 4th, that would be fitting, wouldn’t it.
There’s no “safe & easy” way out of this mess, freedom has always come with a price tag and the cost was always written in the blood of those who sacrificed it all to save it. Today, few are willing to sacrifice for freedom, not a bit of comfort, not a shred of risk, nothing that will cost them anything of value. It is a choice. We’ve chosen to sacrifice freedom for comfort.
I’m not telling anyone what they should or shouldn’t do, facts are just facts. Fear is holding us back from reclaiming our country and until our fear of what’s happening is greater than our fear of losing something, we will keep losing our freedom, rights and independence.
Our only weapon is our voices… joined, united. Resign! Resign! Resign! Because my fear is that by the time 2026 rolls around to vote, it will be way too late for us.
