Given Cuomo’s decision to stay in the race ( A decision I was fully prepared for, while being open to be surprised), I will now join the throngs of newly minted volunteers to get Zohran elected. BTW, Expect the amount of volunteers to nearly double ( from 50,000) in the wake of Mamdani’s victory.
I am 55, and ready to knock on doors make phone calls, and basically work my ass off for this man and his policies.
Put me in the game, kids.
The Democratic Party in New York State ( minus a few good ones such as Jerold Nadler) will either sit on its hands, or begin an active rat-fucking campaign against Mamdani. Mark my words, and please don’t be shocked when this happens. It has already started.
In a way, it does not matter, they try every electtion cycle to do the same thing against the unflappable AOC. She just smiles, puts her head down, and quietly builds an unstoppable army. Our enemy is lazy and stupid and dependent on money...which can buy you little if your product is a lemon.
As someone pointed out elsewhere, Senator Gillebrand supported the sex pest in the primary, which is truly shocking coming from the person that went all out to destroy Al Franken’s career over the same thing. The senator is a political nihilist, all too happy to use claims of harassment and misogyny, but only when it suits her bullshit, illiberal political career.
Truly a snake.
