June 27th is the day to honor some familiar summer memes; first

Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people.

Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly. There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paws. And so we move on: There were several much more serious items commemorated on this day yet since we’ve all been through alot this week, the heat dome being one of them, thought I’d keep this more lighthearted: National Sunglasses day; Itsday;

National Orange Blossom Day , no orange “blossoms” , yet orange related items

BTW, my tiger lilies look about to bloom, some other areas around town have already bloomed.

Thought this little orange was especially clever

And National Onion Day:

Intense heat finally broke late Monday night, briefly, Thursday now and with again 94 temp, heat index 100 . Hopefully all peeps, pooties, woozles and feathered ones will be in much more moderate temps this weekend.
