I wanted you all to get some quick updates as we are well aware keeping up with the news is a job within itself.
Please support resolutions being proposed in Congress to make an attempt to block further military action against Iran without Congressional Approval. To send a message to your Senator to support this resolution, click HERE. For your Congressperson, click HERE.

Saturday, June 28th, 9:00AM-12:00PM: Union County Veterans Parade (Lewisburg)
Go out to Union County to show support to our veterans. You can sign up HERE.
June 29th, 3:30-6:00PM: Milesburg Community Forum
If you are a resident of Milesburg Borough or would like to help support this event, please click HERE to register.
This event is meant to help move the community forward to address their needs, wants, issues, and to build toward their hopes. You can also email me regarding this topic.
TRAINING:
June 29th, 4:00-7:00PM: How Non-Cooperation Beats Authoritarianism
Central PA United and Keystone Indivisible are co-hosting a training on how non-cooperation works. This is also a potluck (you need to nourish the strength to resist after all). You can sign up HERE.

July 17th (Next Major Event): Make Good Trouble
Good Trouble Lives On is setting up another nationwide protest/rally event to make some good trouble. You can check out some events happening HERE.
Every Tuesday, 12:00-1:00PM: Thompson Tuesdays!
On every Tuesday for every month, protest outside of Congressman Glenn Thompson's office and maybe get a glimpse of the "Coward from Howard"! Sign up HERE! You can also click on the graphic below.
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 5:45-7:45 PM: Open Mic 4 Democracy
Community-led bi-weekly open mic focusing on raising community awareness of local, state and national issues that impact our rights and freedoms here in Centre County. Each week a community based activist group will be invited to share their focus and volunteer opportunities, supported by the performers and artists. This happens on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday everything month (ends in October). More details are HERE.
Every Saturday, 10:00AM-12:00PM: Protest in Millheim
Join a local activist or two in protesting the current administration. Typically, standing on the sidewalks by the traffic light in town. This has occurred naturally and there is no sign up.
Every Saturday, Stand With Ukraine:
Every Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00pm at the Allen Street Gates (State College, PA), the Penn State Ukrainian Society will stand in solidarity with Ukraine and appreciate your support.
Every Sunday, 6:30-7:30PM: Rapid Response For Our Freedoms
This virtual event is to keep up with what is happening, various responses, and other updates. I have not done this one directly but have heard it is worth attending. You can sign up HERE.
