Iran launched a missile attack targeting a U.S. military base in Qatar on Monday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said, after the country’s leaders vowed to retaliate for Trump’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Explosions were reported in the sky over the Qatari capital, Doha, which is about 25 miles from Al-Udeid Air Base, the forward headquarters for U.S. Central Command and home to about 10,000 troops. The attack followed a warning from the U.S. Embassy in Qatar urging American citizens there to shelter in place. Qatar’s government had closed its airspace and suspended flights as a “precautionary measure” as nations across the Middle East braced for the possibility of a wider war.

Meanwhile trump was rage-posting hours ago, this time against former Russian leader Medvedev.

In a hopeful piece of news, www.cnn.com/… reports that

Iranian officials gave Qatar advance notice of an attack before launching missiles toward a US military base in the country, according to a source familiar with the matter. The coordination was intended to minimize casualties and preserve an off-ramp, the source said.

There are many other ways Iran can harm Americans and American interests, if they so desire.

This is not going to end well, with these clowns in the White House, who seem to have no interest or skill in peace or negotiations. Let’s hope that some saner voices will prevail.
