I was planning on griping about this little heat wave we’re having but after waking up at 1:30 AM and learning about our surgical strikes on Iran I found we may be in an unconstitutional war. No word yet on whether Iran will retaliate. I saw a vid of the president’s special address. I didn’t learn a thing from it. At this stage, all I know is Iran’s leadership are backed into a corner. I also know Tr*mp didn’t plan these surgical strikes himself. We’ll have to see if his MAGA base appreciates our president being Netanyahu’s goy.

In contrast with our bellicose actions against Iran comes today’s diary. Bob Marley was America’s most famous practitioner of the Rasta faith. The Rastafari is an Abrahamic religion, although it’s Afrocentric in nature. They believe in sorting out their differences in community meetings called groundings. A grounding is often presided over by a Rasta elder, but this isn’t always necessary. Rasta men—and it is nearly always men--get together to hash things out over huge ganja cigarettes. These reasonings, as they are called, are supposed to be non-combative. Ergo, the elder who presides over the grounding. However, Rasta men are free to voice their differences of opinion with another man’s position. It’s no surprise why Rastas call marijuana the holy herb.
