Operation Midnight Hammer to the Economy [1]

I was in shock listening to Trump’s chattering monkey talk about a real military operation trying to take out Iran’s nuclear capability. Yesterday I was hearing about Trump’s bad day on the golf course, so much so that he took his balls and went home. This morning we bombed Iran. Look we all know that real military operations and security are as opposite as things get. I was also amazed no one asked if they could be on Pete’s Signal Chat. Pete is good for drinking and aping what he thinks Trump wants to hear. Look if you want a grinning clown who is suited to do pushups and pass out towels Pete would be the man.

While impressed with the military operation and I enjoyed all the details passed out, I was also a little dismayed, OPSEC went out the window because it also set out a blueprint of how we might conduct another operation in the middle of the night.

Trump threw a military sucker punch at someone who was down, par for the course for Donald. So what did this little temper tantrum goaded by Netanyahu cost the US Tax payer, which no one has begun assessing from what I am seeing? Hundreds of flights, man hours, fuel, ordinance is the initial cost. Oil companies and speculators are sure to ramp up the cost at the pump. Add that on to the cost of tariffs for follow on cost. The loss of trust between US and all our former allies and trading partners, lets let those smarter than I start figuring it out.

We know that Trump tanked the deal that allow international monitoring of Iran’s nuclear aspirations. As far as nuclear proliferation Donald has said that other nations had to develop their own nuclear defense. Heck he wanted to drop a nuke into a hurricane (any one remember that?).

Now let’s talk convoluted relations. Iran is talking to Putin. Putin is getting a large number of drones from Iran to fight Ukraine, (guess that number is going to drop significantly) North Korea is providing missile and nuclear data and processes to Iran, and China is a trading partner with Iran. Let’s go back to Ukraine who is leading the world in war fighting techniques using drone and what I have read is how effective the sea baby drones have been. They were critical in taking down the Crimean bridge, Russia’s land access to that area. They are also credited with having Russia relocate its Black Sea Fleet. For those not connecting the dots you have a vulnerable bottleneck area at the entrance to the Red Sea, you have a lot of shipping and a lot of oil going through that bottleneck which is connect to the Iranian land mass, a country that is capable of producing air and sea drones and a proven warfighting strategy courtesy of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The question now is will Iran take the sucker punch laying down? Will the cowards of Congress take back their power to authorize war? Will MAGA split if we get in a protracted conflict? Finally can the Democrats bring the US together to eliminate the danger of the inept, senile, demented and sadly unstable genius?
