After Operation Midnight Hammer Trump posts all caps warning to Iran - update 2 [1]

Last night, Donald Trump gave a short speech praising the attack on three of Iran's nuclear facilities. He said even Fordow had been completely destroyed. After all the discussions here about how far underground Fordow was, and the capabilities of the GRU-57A/B bombs.
Operation Midnight Hammer is what Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. Dan Caine called it.
Before the operation, Trump posted on Truth Social a rant against Green Tax Credits and windmills, which he needs to start calling wind turbines. This could also have been a part of the planned deception.
14 GRU-57s were dropped, with reports that 5 or 6 were dropped on Fordow. 30 Tomahawk missiles were fired from one submarine.
Planes were sent westward over the Pacific as a ruse. One could say Trump's two week delay announcement was part of the plan.
Trump's warning to Iran is pretty clear:
Operation Midnight Hammer was directed solely at the three nuclear facilities. Iran has the option of trying to attack US interests, which Trump says will be met with even greater force. Or they can negotiate. Pete Hegseth said at a press briefing this morning that messages had already been sent through multiple channels to let Iran know what the US required now. Unconditional surrender was what Trump demanded days ago, and that probably has not changed.
The briefing was with Pete Hegseth and Gen. Caine, who described the attack taking place with B-2 bombers flying from the US with refueling tankers to catch the Iranians by surprise, which apparently they did as there was no air defense or Iranian fighters encountered. With this surprise attack, it sounded like resources from Diego Garcia were not used at all to keep that secrecy intact.
Next step is up to Iran. Khamenei's last X post was 18 hours ago about Palestine. Not a peep about the attack or response.
Thanks to IaniusX for the link. The BBC posted a Maxar satellite photo. We're not seeing much here. Just the three holes in two locations. How can complete destruction of the facility be claimed from this?
Fordow before.
Fordow after.
Credit BBC. Ground is one thing. What about concrete layers along the way?
Now Congress will have its say about what Trump has done. I imagine there will be a complete split between Democrats and Republicans, maybe some Republicans critical. But they didn't stop Trump in time.
Tipped off by DRo, Iran's parliament has voted to close the Strait of Hormuz, confirmed by multiple sources. This 21 mile gap between Iran and the UAE and Oman is a critical passage for 20% of the world's oil, 30% of LNG and many cargos of all kinds. Predictions are that oil, currently at $74 a barrel could go up to $150.
In June of 2019, when faced with the same problem, Trump said that, "It's not going to be closed for long." Iran has one ship that lays mines. That would probably be their first action. The US has aircraft carriers U.S.S. Nimitz and U.S.S. Carl Vinson and their strike forces of cruisers, destroyers and submarines that will be moving to the area. Iran has a navy, but nothing in comparison to ours. We may find out how well our ships can handle cruise missiles now.
China will not be happy as they buy 90% of Iran's oil production. No other nations are going to accept the Strait being closed.
Still another action will be needed by the US that Congress needs to approve. I don't see how they can avoid approving this, now that it has happened, after the air strike they didn't approve.
On Friday, Donald Trump was whining about how he would never get a Nobel Peace Prize for the things he's done. So, after the attack, an ally of Putin, Dimitry Medvedev said, "Trump, who came in as a peacemaker president, has started a new war for the US. Trump won't win the Nobel Peace Prize."
While Hegseth said at the briefing that the operation was a complete success, Gen. Caine said it was too early to assess what damage had been done.
Seven B-2 bombers were flown from Missouri with 14 bombs. The supposed maximum load capacity of the B-2 bomber is 40,000 lbs., but two bombs apiece is 60,000 lbs. Seems the Pentagon doesn't give out complete statistics on weaponry. For instance, we still do not know the real maximum speed of the SR-71 to this day. Is it possible that we don't know the true capabilities of the GRU-57? 125 aircraft took part in the attack, so there were a lot of fighters in the mix.
The U.N. Security Council will meet later today with the permanent members being the U.S., Russia, China, France and the U.K. All nuclear powers. Earlier Iran had asked for an emergency meeting. The U.S. can veto any resolution, so it will only be talk followed by reporting of it.
JD Vance said we were only at war with Iran's nuclear program, not with Iran as a whole. Splitting hairs. He also said we were trying to prevent Iran from developing "weapons of mass destruction." Maybe Vance forgets that George W. Bush got us into a war with Iraq in 2003 over the same claim, which turned out to be completely imaginary.
So what is MAGA saying about this? Two days ago Huffpost ran a story that the Proud Boys said they would no longer support Trump if he went to war with Iran. They posted on Telegram, "America First does not mean War for Israel. Donald trump, focus on the health of our nation, period. We are crippled with debt and no plan for a solution. Be the President you ran as."
Even Marjorie Taylor Greene was against the attack:
When you've lost MTG, you've lost the base. At least that's what she has said.
Here's the Mossad's latest take on the whole situation with Iran:
The Mossad would be the ones to assassinate Khamenei on the Israeli side. Trump could have a satellite on Khamenei anywhere he has decided to hide. Khamenei hasn't posted on his X account in 22 hours. Make of that what you will.
Trump has moved on. An hour and a half ago he posted this.
He'd be out golfing if he could. He's got a course in DC not far away and there's nothing on his schedule calendar.
