Trumpists Get What They Wish For [1]

In 2015 there was a joint rally in DC on the day the Senate voted to ratify the so-called Obama nuclear deal with Iran. I was there, on the West Front of the US Capitol grounds. The rally was sponsored by both the Ted Cruz and Donald Trump for President Campaigns. Cruz spoke, Trump had a schedule change. It was mostly a hate Obama festival with half the crowd denouncing the President as a Stalinist strongman and the other half calling Obama a weakling hippy peacenik. Everyone there was bloodthirsty and there were countless pleas to turn Iran into a parking lot.
