B-2 Stealth Bombers headed out over the Pacific Ocean [1]

There are multiple reports that multiple B-2 Spirit stealth bombers are making their way west over the Pacific Ocean. They are likely headed for Guam in the Pacific or perhaps to the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

The B-2s departed from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri and were accompanied by numerous tanker planes (KC-135 Stratotanker and KC-46 Pegasus aerial refueling aircraft).
The B-2 Spirit stealth bomber is the only aircraft designed to deploy the massive GBU-57 bunker buster guided bomb and can carry two bunker buster bombs at a time.

The B-2s will likely be used to drop the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), the US military’s most powerful bunker buster. Note that it is not a nuclear bomb.
Weighing about 13,600 kg, including a 2,700 kg warhead, this precision-guided bomb can penetrate up to 61 m underground before exploding. www.aljazeera.com/…

Joining the B-2s, F-22s, and tankers, the U.S. has also ordered the USS Nimitz (CVN 68) Carrier Strike Group to the Middle East. Alongside the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), this will mean two active U.S. Navy CSGs in the U.S. 5th Fleet.
