Trump's real obsession with Biden's imaginary obsession with Trump [1]

Trump and his minions are going way out of their way to try to discredit Joe Biden's term in office, by any means necessary. Trump has done it with his Autopen fantasies, but lately it has been the FBI's Kash Patel digging into FBI records and giving them to Sen. Chuck Grassley to release, and put an official truth stamp on it.

This time it's a ridiculous effort to tie Joe to the FBI looking into Trump's involvement with the J6 choir that recorded that terrible rendition of a song called "Justice for All." The song is the Pledge of Allegiance done to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner.

Notice that the text on both of Trump's Truth Social posts say the exact same thing, with Fox News giving a slightly different version of the New York Post story headline. On the first post it looks like a Trump written one with the all caps. The second one done by a staffer

Here's the New York Post story if you want to read how a question by an FBI agent gets turned into a crusade to get Donald Trump.

It starts right off with "rogue agents and prosecutors" before diving headfirst into the rabbit hole.

Grassley hasn't released the emails described in the NY Post story, instead just reprinting the article on the Senate Judiciary webpage as an ICYMI. So did Grassley give the emails to the NY Post exclusively? There are supposed quotes from them, but how can we know without the whole emails?

As it us, what the Post cherrypicks out of the supposed emails is innocuous.

The other crime was that a Forbes article was attached to an email. There were three articles Forbes did in March of 2023.

The Post never mentions which Forbes story. They jump right into conspiracy theories following Grassley's lead that the email distribution included "notorious anti-Trump FBI Special Agent Walter Giardina," who was the first FBI contact to get the Steele Dossier. Still another crime. More were investigating Peter Navarro for contempt of Congress, and the greatest one of all, Operation Crossfire and the Mueller investigation.

The Post writes of Grassley as the "patron saint of whistleblowers." More like blowhards. Every one of his whistleblowers in front of questioning have failed completely as Democratic committee members have proved time and time again.

There is only one interesting part of the purported email that mentions the proceeds from the sale of the J6 recording went to an LLC, but that vetting was done so the money didn't go to the violent offenders who assaulted police.

From what the Post published of the emails, which apparently only they have, along with Grassley, there is nothing sinister at all about them. Just guilt by association like with Giardina.

If Joe Biden wanted to go after Trump he would have put in an Attorney General that would have investigated January 6th and put Trump in jail. That didn't happen. Joe is too principled. Too much respect for the office of the presidency to misuse it. We all now wish he had at least talked to Garland about it, way before the January 6th Committee had their hearings. It would be a different world.

Trump thinks he got a new line of attack on Biden. That's shown by the two posts. If this is going to go any further, Grassley or Patel have to release the emails. The fact that they haven't just shows this was a throw the spaghetti at the wall and see if it sticks effort.

It all depends on how big a deal Trump wants to make of it.
