Musk Fights w/ Own AI Bot..Proves Why AI is Terrible [1]

Someone asked Grok whether the right or the left was more violent politically. Grok answered and Musk flips out. I’m sure everyone including me is getting a good laugh, but there is something extremely unsettling here. A window is opened up to the process of producing an “all knowing AI Bot”, and AI in general. Grok is the AI bot for X. I suspect it’s a play on Gort, the robot from the 1951 movie “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. The fact that he would publicly disagree with his own AI bot is so rich in itself; but Musk is clearly admitting that he can rewrite history and, of course, present it as fact. And if we let AI take over our human decision making, you can see where this headed. Crap in means crap out. Fascism in means fascism out.
I am impressed with how detailed Grok is concerning the fascists and their violence. You can bet the programmers at X are getting an earful right now. You can also bet that X will move even more reactionary. Look for “legacy media” to be further editorially denigrated as well.
In the meantime, it is nice to see Musk owned by his own making, if only for a while.

“grok” comes directly from Heinlein’s “Stranger in a Strange Land.” If memory serves me, it is a term for a deep understanding, beyond mere knowledge, of something or someone.
