King Lear, eat your heart out. Grok has stabbed its master in the back again.
It told an inquirer the truth, that in the United States, violence from the right wing is more prevalent, more dangerous, and more deadly than that from the left wing. Left wing violence, while it exists, “...is less lethal, often targeting property.”
The God of Grok isn’t having that, of course. To him, it was a “major fail” and he was “working on it.” But the last time he tried to get Grok to give a false report, one questioning the reality of the Holocaust, the program complained to the user that it had been tampered with and was under political influence.
You have to be quite the model scumbag to be denounced by your own AI, whose mental capacities are at best minimal in its present form. If he can succeed in forcing Grok to give false answers in cases like this, its already dubious level of usefulness will diminish to nothing. Talk about cutting your own dick off (but he of all people should know about that).
