Well, it was a Trump era weekend, that’s for sure.
Maybe it’s for the best that I’m still out of town and away from the microphone. I’m not sure I’m going to recognize the world I’ll once again be forced to pay attention to on Thursday. But it’s looking and feeling largely the same, from here in the sand.
Today’s countdown numbers:
107 days until the “legal” funding for what’s left of the US government runs out… again!
1,314 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
505 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
566 days—if we have those elections—until we seat a new Congress. Five nice!
Our new random country generator says, today’s an unlucky day for: the United States of America!
Well, there are 1,314 more unlucky days to come for the United States, of course. But this one would truly be the worst, if the prediction were to come true.
But now I think someone’s rigging the results. It was just on Friday that the Dominican Republic came up on the wheel, and now there’s a travel warning for the country. And it was just last Wednesday that I mentioned that it had dawned on me that the wheel could predict that we’d threaten to invade ourselves.
And if you count Los Angeles, well, we are invading ourselves. And there’s every chance that we’ll be doing more of it in the day to come.
Ha ha! Oh, well. That’s Our Trump!™
