What Trump [Really] Wanted. A follow-up. [1]

Trump loved France’s Fête Nationale, celebrating our eventual freedom from tyranny. The Anglophones call it Bastille Day, which was started by the siege of the Hôtel des Invalides [an armory] earlier that day [14th of July 1789 ]. Then, another crowd stormed the Bastille, and the revolution ended 10 years later in 1799. The 1st Republic was founded in 1792, and we then had periods of Colonial Empires [2]; we eventually became what we are today under the 5th Republic [founded 1958 by de Gaulle].
* I say “we” after reclaiming my hêrezh Breizh [Breton heritage] and becoming a dual national.
France even sent you a colossus that had thrown off her shackles to celebrate our shared goals.
