LA law enforcement uses violence on peaceful protesters [1]

I had been watching MSNBC solid and getting glimpses of Trump's parade and suddenly at the LA protests, the LAPD decided to push the protesters away from the Federal Building which was already defended by the National Guard around the building.
Then, the LA Sheriffs on horseback started pushing people down the street with the threat of trampling them. That wasn't enough. They started throwing flash-bang grenades, then tear gas and pepper spray. No provocation by protesters. They were completely peaceful.
AFP video of tear gas being used (YouTube).
The LA County Sheriffs seemed to have no problem with unnecessary use of force. Protesters were completely peaceful from morning till 4pm PT, when all the LA law enforcement just decided to attack. That's the only way to describe it.
MSNBC cut away to cover Trump's short remarks after the parade, and waiting for them to cut back. They've got two reporters covering the protests, Jacob Soboroff and David Noriega, who was hard to hear because he was wearing a gas mask.
Jacob said law enforcement told him water bottles were thrown at them. David Noriega said the water bottles were empty. Jacob had a policeman with less than lethal ammunition point right at him and his cameraman and then turned and fired at people going up the hill next to him. No reason.
David Noriega said he did see a couple of water bottles thrown. But they were empty.
Mayor Bass asked protesters to be peaceful, and they were. So why are the LAPD and Sheriffs being so violent?
Who gave the orders to act this way?
Jacob came back to report, and he pointed out all the streets with bridges going over the 101 freeway, law enforcement started with the one closest to the Federal Building then moved on to the next one. Nobody on the overpasses was doing anything but waving flags. They weren't blocking anything. They were on the pedestrian walkways. The next street across from Jacob was full of Sheriff vehicles. Probably they would go after the one he was on next.
Jen Psaki has taken over at MSNBC and says that reporters were thrown to the ground in LA and cuts to commercials. Never did get that reporter thrown to ground story
Jacob gets pushed back after a group of LAPD marches down in a line across the street, the whip out their batons and form a line across the street. The National Guardsmen continue to tell him to keep moving.
Mayor Barbara Lee spoke at her Oakland No Kings rally. No arrests. A total different story from LA.
Only LA has the National Guard and the Maines. And they are creating the problem
Over at Fox News live coverage, their reporter says fireworks were shot at officers. It was flash-bang grenades used by the Sherrifs. She's fixated on the 8pm curfew in 30 minutes and how there's still a lot of people downtown. Host says Pam Bondi has arrested agitators. Who? When? Cristina talks about those rocks and pieces of concrete. That was days ago. There is no looting. She's just plain lying. You can see nothing except the law enforcement. She said she heard glass breaking, but I didn't hear that. All that's happening is lines of cops and regular flash-bangs. They did have a live shot of a water bottle landing in front of police that were all firing tear gas. That one didn't look like an empty. One.
Rocks bottles and fireworks Fox News reporter claims have been thrown. There were more water bottles thrown. Never reached the line of LAPD. "Lawlessness that has been allowed to fester." Keep bringing up 500 arrests, almost all for failure to disperse. That was over a whole week.
Fox News still behind the police lines saying objects have been dropped from buildings and one policeman is aiming what looks like a grenade launcher up at a building, but doesn't fire. So Fox ends at 8pm and we never see what happens after curfew time.
MSNBC is stuck on the Minnesota lawmakers attacks. Now that the curfew in LA has been reached, no coverage.
Add more as it comes in.
