Just the Stats, Man: Wrap up from AZ, FL, GA, IA, MI, MN, NH, NV, NC, OH, PA, TX, VA & WI [1]

Hope Springs from Field understands that volunteer to voter personal interactions are critical. Knocking on doors has repeatedly been found to be the most successful tactic to get voters to cast a ballot and that is the goal of what we do.

1% of the voters we talked to supported the House reconciliation bill to cut the federal government. 24% disapproved. 9% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing. 45% disapproved. There is no senate race next year in Arizona, but we are asking about job approval for Juan Ciscomani in this district. 2% approved and 49 % disapproved. 49% approved of the job Gov. Hobbs is doing while 4% disapproved.

The Economy was the Number 1 issue for the Arizonans we talked to. Tariffs was second and Fears over cuts in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and the effects of that on Rural Hospitals was third.

In Arizona, 206 volunteers came out to knock on doors in the Tucson area on Saturday. We knocked on 14,770 doors and talked to 1,196 voters. 765 of those voters answered at least some of the questions on our Issues Survey. We registered 1 new voter and re-registered 16 voters (many of these were voters who wanted to take advantage of Arizona’s Active Early Voting List).

Florida

668 volunteers came out last Saturday in Florida and knocked on 49,899 doors. They talked to 4,091 voters in four counties (and Congressional Districts). 2,659 voters responded to questions — more than a thousand more than last week! We registered 52 new voters (overwhelming African-Americans) and re-registered 28 voters, all using the Florida Secretary of State website (to comply with Florida’s stringent laws).

The Top Issue in Florida last Saturday was (High) Prices. Jobs was the Number 2 issue. Tariffs was third.

On Saturday, 2% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts to cut the Federal budget while 25% disapproved. 11% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing; 44% disapproved .

Florida has a new Senator, since Marco Rubio jumped ship. Her name is Ashley Moody. 5% of the voters we talked to approved of the job she was doing and 19% disapproved. Not a lot of voters knew who she was. We also ask about how voters feel about the job the governor is doing. On Saturday, 14% said they approved and 42% said they’d disapprove. You may have noticed his numbers changing once we got out of FL-06.

301 voters filled out Constituent Service Requests. 5 voters filled out Incident Reports, citing potential problems they had witnessed in a prior election.

Georgia

577 volunteers came out to knock on doors last Saturday in Georgia. We knocked on 42,524 doors and talked to 3,444 voters. 2,204 of those voters answered at least some of our questions.

We registered 43 new voters (primarily African-American) and re-registered 22 voters.

Prices was the Top Issue in Georgia on Saturday. Jobs was second and Fears over cuts in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and the effects of that on Rural Hospitals was third.

1% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts to cut the federal government. 22% disapproved. 11% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing. 47% disapproved. 51% of voters we talked to said they approved of the job Jon Ossoff was doing in the Senate; 4% said they disapproved. 38% approved of the job Gov. Kemp is doing while 37% disapproved.

261 voters filled out Constituent Service Request forms and 4 voters filled out Incident Reports.

Iowa

392 volunteers came out last Saturday in Iowa and knocked on 28,106 doors. They talked to 2,304 voters and 1,468 voters responded to questions. We registered 3 new voters and re-registered 14 voters, to comply with federal voter laws.

The Top Issue in Iowa last Saturday was The Economy. Housing Availability, Costs and Housing Insurance Costs was the Number 2 issue. Tariffs was third.

On Saturday, 2% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts and 27% disapproved. 12% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing; 38% disapproved .

8% of the voters we talked to approved of the job Sen Ernst was doing and 34% disapproved. Not a lot of voters knew who she was. We are also asking how voters view their Incumbent (GOP) Members of Congress. 4% approved and 38% disapproved. We also ask about how voters feel about the job Gov. Reynolds is doing. On Saturday, 13% said they approved and 41% said they’d disapprove.

68 voters filled out Constituent Service Requests.

Kentucky

82 volunteers came out to knock on doors last Saturday in KY-06. We knocked on 5,592 doors and talked to 447 voters. 283 of those voters answered at least some of our questions from our Issues Survey.

We re-registered 3 voters. 17 voters filled out Constituent Service Request forms.

The Economy was the Top Issue on Saturday. Tariffs was second. Threats to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and Rural Hospitals was third.

5% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts to cut the federal government. 27% disapproved. 15% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing. 37% disapproved. 3% of voters approved of the job Andy Barr is doing; 41 disapproved. 53% approved of the job Gov. Beshear is doing while 14% disapproved.

Michigan

We wrote about last Saturday’s canvass in Michigan in Thursday’s diary. 379 volunteers knocked on 26,416 doors. Iowa volunteers talked to 2,113 voters and had in-depth conversations with 1,331 of them, respectively, guided by our Issues Questionnaire.

Minnesota

We wrote about last Saturday’s canvass in Minnesota in Thursday’s diary. 379 volunteers knocked on 26,416 doors. Iowa volunteers talked to 2,113 voters and had in-depth conversations with 1,331 of them, respectively, guided by our Issues Questionnaire.

Nevada

403 volunteers came out to knock on doors in Nevada on Saturday. We knocked on 29,016 doors and volunteers talked to 2,321 voters. 1,485 of those voters answered questions on our Issues Survey.

We registered 4 new voters and re-registered 14 voters to comply with federal law.

(High) Prices was the Number 1 Issue in Nevada on Saturday. Jobs were second and Housing Availability, Costs and Housing Insurance Costs was third.

1% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts to cut the federal government. 18% disapproved. 13% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing. 44% disapproved. There is no senate race next year in Nevada, but we are asking about job approval for the Members of Congress in these districts. 51% approved and 5% disapproved. You will see that these took a dramatic turn last week. 4% approved of the job Gov. Lombardo is doing while 38% disapproved.

154 voters filled out Constituent Service Requests. 2 voters filled out Incident Reports, citing potential problems they had witnessed in a prior election.

New Hampshire

We wrote about last Saturday’s canvass in New Hampshire in Tuesday’s diary. 225 volunteers knocked on 16,582 doors. Hope Springs volunteers talked to 1,343 voters and had in-depth conversations with 855 of them, respectively, guided by our Issues Questionnaire.

North Carolina

527 volunteers came out to knock on doors in North Carolina. We knocked on 39,206 doors and talked to 3,206 voters. 2,032 of those voters answered questions from our Issues Survey.

We registered 38 new voters (primarily African-American due to our Divine Nine volunteers) and re-registered 17 voters.

Jobs was the Number 1 Issue in North Carolina. Tariff was second. What we are labelling as Trump Troubles (including this weekend’s “No Kings” Day) was third.

1% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts to cut the federal government. 25% disapproved. 8% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing. 47% disapproved. 4% approved of the job Thom Tillis was doing in the Senate; 48% disapproved. 40% approved of the job Gov. Stein is doing while 5% disapproved.

132 voters filled out Constituent Service Request forms. 4 voters filled out Incident Reports.

Ohio

532 volunteers came out to knock on doors in Ohio last weekend. We knocked on 39,740 doors and talked to 3,258 voters. 2,062 of those voters answered questions from our Issues Survey.

We registered 4 new voters and re-registered 13 voters. 131 voters filled out Constituent Service Request forms.

The Economy was the Number 1 Issue in Ohio. Housing Concerns was second. Threats to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid was third.

2% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts to cut the federal government. 27% disapproved. 10% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing. 47% disapproved. 5% approved of the job Jon Husted was doing in the Senate; 22% disapproved. 36% approved of the job Gov. DeWine is doing while 37% disapproved.

Pennsylvania

285 volunteers came out to knock on doors in Pennsylvania last Saturday. We knocked on 21,004 doors and talked to 1,701 voters. 1,088 of those voters answered questions from our Issues Survey.

The Economy was the Number 1 Issue in Pennsylvania. Tariffs was second. Budget Cuts was third.

2% of the voters we talked to supported DOGE and House Republican efforts to cut the federal government. 21% disapproved. 7% of the voters we talked to said they approved of the job that Trump was doing. 51% disapproved. There is no senate race next year in Pennsylvania, but we ask about job approval for the Members of Congress in these districts. 5% approved of the job the incumbent Member of Congress was doing; 48% disapproved. 49% approved of the job Gov. Shapiro is doing while only 5% disapproved.

147 voters filled out Constituent Service Requests. 3 voters filled out an Incident Report, citing potential problems they had witnessed in a prior election.

Texas

We wrote about last Saturday’s canvass in Texas in yesterday’s diary. 379 volunteers knocked on 26,416 doors. Iowa volunteers talked to 2,113 voters and had in-depth conversations with 1,331 of them, respectively, guided by our Issues Questionnaire.

Virginia
