The Marines and National Guard didn’t come here to calm tensions in LA. They came here to take over our state and think bringing turmoil to our cities is a good thing that will score political points. How could the appeals court let military forces remain in our state when Kristi Noem made it clear the military is here to overthrow our elected leaders? Because 2 out of 3 of them were Trump appointees.
Noem’s words yesterday should scare us all. “We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city.”
I am grateful to the California leaders who bring compassion and kindness to the policies of our state. And who have shown the courage to protect us from the Republicans who have MADE children starve to death, TAKEN AWAY treatment options from cancer patients, and are GIVING billions to the richest men in the world as they cut programs that make working class lives liveable. Thank you for fighting the battle to save us from the cruelty a puppy-shooter wants to bring to California.
