The pustilent excrescence who masquerades as the president is reported to have said that Alex Padilla, the senior senator from California, was a nobody who deserved to be manhandled, thrown to the floor, and handcuffed because, well, you know, he looked like One of THEM.

Donald Trump is trying to justify federal agents handcuffing California Senator Alex Padilla by suggesting that he “looked like an illegal,” his leading biographer has revealed. “Trump saw these pictures and then has been on the phone saying to people, ‘Nobody’s ever heard of this guy,’” Michael Wolff, the bestselling author, said this week on The Daily Beast Podcast. “As though that’s an excuse. And then he’s gone on to say, ‘and he looks like an illegal.’”
The White House chose to respond by calling Wolff “a lying sack of shit” — which I guess is better than calling for Wolff to be arrested for something or other.
Yes, this is all second-hand. But Wolff does have a reputation for getting all kinds of solid information. While Trump has a reputation for, oh, let’s see, racism, vulgarity, incompetence, incontinence (both physical and mental). So I’m gonna go with Wolff on this one.
