Trump takes credit for hotel & leisure and farming crises [1]

Yesterday NBC had reporter Jacob Soboroff out in a California cabbage farm. Earlier, ICE had chased down a field worker in a field next to him and arrested him. The field he was in, had cabbages ready to pick, but there was no one to be seen.
This is exactly what was predicted when Trump and his minions started their deportation crusade. Food was going to go to waste in fields, because there was nobody to pick it. Field workers are in hiding. Food prices are going to go up.
Just when the home building industry needs to be in full swing in LA after 11,000 homes burned in the wildfire, the workforce, 41% immigrants, isn't there to do the job. Same as the field workers, hiding.
Hotels, resorts and restaurants are all feeling the same woes. Lack of workers. This isn't just California, this is nationwide.
Now that Trump is causing farming and hotels and restaurants to face problems that may not be recoverable, Trump wants to take credit.
"Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace."
So, Trump knows the problems he's created. But he just doesn't care. He's so fixated on rapists, murderers, people from insane asylums, that he never realizes how small a fraction that is. Throwing the wheat out with the chaff.
"In many cases the Criminals allowed into our Country by the VERY Stupid Biden Open Borders Policy are applying for those jobs."
Um, criminals don't apply for jobs. Their livelihood is being a criminal, like theft. Immigrants are running away from ICE and no one is going to replace them. These were jobs US citizens would not take because of the work and low pay.
"This is not good. We must protect our Farmers, but get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA."
Farmers don't need protection. They need workers. Migrant farm workers are a part of the US economy. This is how farms have worked for 100 years. You can't summarily take their workers away and let food rot in the fields. This is exactly what was predicted, and now it is happening.
"Changes are coming!"
Not good ones. Everything that depends on undocumented immigrants is going under. There is no alternate to people who will work for low wages. Trump should try it instead of photo-oping in a garbage truck or running the French fryer at McDonald's. See what real physical labor is. He's got no idea of what real work is. He probably has a good number of undocumented immigrants working at his hotels and golf courses, but you're never going to see ICE raids there.
With Trump, it's always do as I say, not as I do.
