The equation goes something like this: one burning Waymo communicates the wrong thing with the equivalent impact of 10,000 protesters communicating the right thing… maybe 100,000? … because the burning gets played over and over again - even in the ‘liberal’ media - and promotes the agenda of MAGA fascists that you are a bunch of leftist radicals intent upon destroying the comfortable, safe lifestyle of those who voted Trump because they were afraid.
So when you’re out there you should consider it your primary job - not exercising your right of free speech or shaking a clever, funny sign - your job is to make sure your gathering is not allowing agitators (some of whom might be paid plants) to completely wipe out your message by burning things, looting or throwing stuff at the police. If you see someone showing signs of doing such a thing you need to take it upon yourself to stop them - and not by yourself - gather around them and make them stop.
