Dem Senators should shut down Senate until Noem resigns after Senator Padilla violently arrested [1]

Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) attempted to ask a question at a press conference in Los Angeles hosted by Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security (AKA Gulag Barbie). For being so uppity, law enforcement removed Padilla forcibly from the room, handcuffed him, and pushed him to the ground. There are already two other posts on dailykos that give more details. Here and here.
Already there are angry statements from Senate Majority Leader Schumer, House Minority Leader Jeffries, and California Governor Newsom. IMHO, the situation demands much more than angry statements.
My suggestion is that all Democratic Senators withdraw unanimous consent every day until Gulag Barbie resigns. Unanimous consent is required for the Senate to do anything. It seems to me that angry statements alone are an invitation for the Trump Junta to disrespect all Democratic elected officials in any way they see fit.
I suggest that all of us email or call our Senators and demand that they shut down the Senate until Gulag Barbie is gone.
