Tulsi's Weird, Dark, Mushroom Cloud Video of WTAF [1]

I recently visited Hiroshima, and stood at the epicenter of a city scarred by the unimaginable horror caused by a single nuclear bomb dropped in 1945. What I saw, the stories I heard, and the haunting sadness that remains, will stay with me forever.
Okay.
She recounts her feelings being in Hiroshima and seeing/hearing the stories and the art work.
Surprise! She’s human.
She stated the facts that the atomic weapons we have today are more powerful than what was dropped on Hiroshima or Nagasaki. The bomb dropped on Hiroshima had a yield of 15 kilotons of TNT. Where as today’s nuclear weapons range in size from 100 kilotons to over 1 megaton.
A single nuclear weapon today could kill millions in just minutes.
Well no shit. That’s why the AFSC and thousands of us protested at nuclear weapons plants long ago. And many of us are still of the opinion that if the nuclear warhead missiles start to fly we’ll head toward ground zero because we don’t want to live in the aftermath.

The video is pretty factual until you get to the 2:50 mark where you learn that WE ARE CLOSER TO NUCLEAR WAR THAN WE HAVE EVER BEEN!

We are closer now than we were during the Cuban Missile Crisis, she implies.

During the crisis the Doomsday Clock was set at 7 minutes to midnight. NOW it’s at 89 seconds to midnight, BUT unlike 1962 the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists doesn’t just take the nuclear war risks when deciding where the clock is to be set. They now also include climate change, pandemics, etc.
That fact seems to be missing from Tulsi’s video.
In 2024, humanity edged ever closer to catastrophe. There are a lot of actors on where we are, including not listening to scientists and how that is imperiling us (the video below is about an hour, but for this diary is it the first 8.5 minutes that are important)

But Tulsi just wants to focus on nuclear and how powerful political elites and war mongers are “carelessly” promoting fear and tensions between nuclear powers, because as her video goes on, they are confident they have nuclear shelters for themselves and their families.
I guess she didn’t get the memo about preppers and hasn’t bought any of Jim Bakker’s doomsday food buckets
Her video is dark and ominous and frankly the very fear mongering she decries.
She says we need to work for a world where no one has to live with the fear that most of us have lived with our whole life. And I applaud that, but what is Trump's administration, her boss doing about it?
They want to increase nuclear arms, by updating the nuclear arsenal, increase missile defenses and develop new low yield nuclear devices so, I guess the devastated area won’t be as large. He has withdrawn from multilateral treaties, but wants to have nuclear talks with Russia and China and maybe some negotiated agreements there(?). (I thought that was called a ‘treaty’)
He has eroded the trust the rest of the world had in us and no one could possibly look at Trump as a rational actor.
Trump likes to say he kept Pakistan and India from going nuclear, but they did that themselves.
The Bulletin is also concerned with Trump’s war against American Science.
I’m not sure who Tulsi’s video is aimed at. The fact that 89 seconds to midnight is NOT just about nuclear war it’s about climate change, pandemics, etc. when her boss is doing everything to push us to midnight in regards to everything — including nuclear war . . . is just weird.
