The $5 million Trump Card is real [1]

If you head over to TrumpCard.gov, you'll see this:

A user was annoyed when a security service called Cloudflare popped up. It's not a data scrape, it's trying to determine if you're a human being or a bot without using a Captcha.

It's not a joke. It's an official website of the US Government. Below the shot is a contact form. I wish it was to collect $5 million instead of having to have it already to pony up.

Trump had to put an ad for it up on Truth Social.

But to name the card after himself and put his picture and signature on it is just as bad as when the stimulus checks were sent out with his name and signature on them. That was a misuse of power then, and it could have made people vote for Trump in 2024. If this isn't just a sample design, then Trump has gone too far.

So, if you want to emigrate to America, you need to be a white South African Afrikaner, or you need $5 million on hand.

Trump has already sold out the United States with his worldwide deals, cryptocurrencies, pardons for sale and a myriad of other ponzi schemes. Now he wants to sell US citizenship for a price.

You can watch Howard Lutnick explain it on YouTube.

Well, it's not really selling US citizenship, it allows people to come to the United States and work without going through the normal hassle of being an immigrant. It does allow them a fast track to permanent residency.

The actual details of what the benefits are of having the card haven't been made clear since Trump first announced the card 3 months ago.

Immigration lawyer Darren Silver tells his clients, "I had to explain to them, 'you're gifting the US government $5 million. That's all you're doing.' And once I explained that to them, they're out."

Other countries offering residency or citizenship for investments included Malta, Greece, Portugal, New Zealand, and the UAE. They didn't work well and they've ended those programs. Malta was told that it violated European Union law and had to shut it down. Other countries found problems with national security, illicit funds being used and money laundering.

Trump has said that gold card applicants will be vetted very carefully. Knowing how easy it is to bribe Trump, I'm not sure at all about that. Considering how well he vetted his own cabinet, that's a good sign of how well it would go.

When a reporter asked Trump whether Russian oligarchs would be eligible for the gold cards Trump replied, "Yeah, possibly. I know some Russian oligarchs that are very nice people." Trump would probably send one to Putin, just for the hell of it.

In a post on X, one woman offered to beat Trump's offer, with what she called a million dollar 'discount.' For just 4 million dollars, she posted, she would help an uber rich foreigner come to America by marrying him.

This is probably a good indication of where the market for this will go. With Trump behind it, it will be filled with corruption and iffy legalities.

There used to be just one gold card, and it was from American Express. American express is a good way to describe this one.
