Military.Com Reports That Soldiers At Trump's Fort Bragg Speech Were PRESCREENED For MAGA. [1]

I saw this posted from Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo, which obtained this bit of new from Military.com: those cheering and booing soldiers at Trump’s Fort Bragg speech were prescreened for Trump supporters.

Bragg Soldiers Who Cheered Trump's Political Attacks While in Uniform Were Checked for Allegiance, Appearance

From Trump’s recent Fort Bragg speech attacking his political opponents:

As Trump viciously attacked his perceived political foes, he whipped up boos from the gathered troops directed at California leaders, including Gov. Gavin Newsom -- amid the president's controversial move to deploy the National Guard and Marines against protesters in Los Angeles -- as well as former President Joe Biden and the press. The soldiers roared with laughter and applauded Trump's diatribe in a shocking and rare public display of troops taking part in naked political partisanship… Internal 82nd Airborne Division communications reviewed by Military.com reveal a tightly orchestrated effort to curate the optics of Trump's recent visit, including handpicking soldiers for the audience based on political leanings and physical appearance. One unit-level message bluntly saying: "No fat soldiers." "If soldiers have political views that are in opposition to the current administration and they don't want to be in the audience then they need to speak with their leadership and get swapped out," another note to troops said.

And the article has another anonymous military officer source who stated that this was “shameful.”

We all know that there are military personnel who support Trump and are MAGA. Shit, I remember a bunch of dumbass Navy Seals demonstrating Trump flags on I-264 in Louisville back in 2016. This was done while they were in military trucks near the airport.

And I had wondered why military commanders allowed those boos from the soldiers at Fort Bragg. It’s simple. The fuckin’ crowd was MAGA.

And no fat guys need be shown, even though the MAGA leader is a tub of lard. And more than a few MAGA lunatics are obese. We get to see them all the time on TV when Trump has one of those fuckin’ rallies.

But fat MAGA fans will not be offended. Their orange messiah can piss on them in public, and it makes no difference. Hell, they will cheer while being pissed on.

By the way, sellers of MAGA merchandise were allowed at the rally. And those same MAGA soldiers bought up the MAGA products. And yes, this violates long standing military regulations about selling political items on a base.

Disgusting.
