May the gods have a sense of humor: weather prediction for June 14 in D.C. [1]

The National Weather Service is, as of this posting June 10th, predicting a temperature of 83º F (with humidity at 75%) and thunderstorms starting in the afternoon on June 14, 2025. The U.S Army Trump $45M+ birthday parade is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with musical performances starting at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:45 p.m. In addition to the on ground marching and rolling malarkey, per The Hill, there is going to be an “extensive flyover” featuring 64 Apache, 60 Black Hawk, and 47 Chinook helicopters. A B-25 bomber, a P-51 Mustang fighter plane, and a C-47 transport plane will also join the air p charade. Thirty-four horses, two mules, one wagon, and a dog get to enjoy the rumble as well. I’m not sure how much rain, thunder, and lightning can/will affect these participants but I’m pretty damn sure the viewers will be absolutely miserable.
Oh please, oh please, oh please let the weather gods send a fulsome message to the narcissist-in-chief.
