Head Of Latinas for Trump Calls Immigration Policy "Inhumane." Her Response Is PERFORMANCE. [1]

So a life long Republican and Cuban American who is the head of “Latinas for Trump” now wants to call Trump’s immigration policy — wait for it — “inhumane”? State Senator Ileana Garcia of Miami, Florida is supposedly not happy with Trump wanting to deport Venezuelans back to Venezuala, and she and a few other politicians from Florida are going to have a meeting wtih Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem about this very issue. The Miami Herald has reported all of this, and to me, it screams of “PERFORMANCE FOR CONSTITUENTS’ CONSUMPTION ONLY!”

What do I mean by that? This is basically a replay of the infamous Senator Susan Collins “Concerned” Moment. In this case with Garcia, we are having a more energetic performance for her constituents to be dazzled and mollified by.

A Miami Republican who co-founded the group Latinas for Trump is condemning President Donald Trump’s mass-deportation campaign and blasting recent immigration enforcement actions as harmful. “This is not what we voted for,” State Sen. Ileana Garcia said in a statement on Saturday. “I have always supported Trump, through thick and thin. However, this is unacceptable and inhumane.”

Wow! “Unacceptable and inhumane”! “This is not what we voted for.”!

Where the fuck have you been living lady the last 10 years? It must be where there is no internet. I seem to recall family separations for immigrants by DHS in the first Trump Administration. Plenty of video of kids in cages. And those immigrants were Latinos.

And this was way after Trump’s comments about those coming from Mexico being rapists and drug dealers.

So no Ms. Garcia, I don’t believe you for one second when you state that this is not what you voted for. You’re a state senator and not some low information voter who stays underground like cicadas between elections only to emerge on election day with no recollection of the past several years. This is exactly what you voted for because you know that you will never be deported.

Unfortunately, some of those very dumb Venezuelan immigrants who attained citizenship and can vote and did vote for Trump are now seeing some of their family and friends stripped of their special protected immigration status. And those same Venezuelans who are not citizens are being threatened with deporation back to Venezuela. And the Venezuelan community is giving you flak now.

So what is a cunning politician to do, especially when they really do not give a shit about their constituents’ problems? Of course! You go through the motions of addressing said problem to lull the masses back into their slumber!

It’s an old trick. You demand a meeting with some department head. You loudly state that you have sent a letter demanding a meeting with the department in charge of say immigration. And you will get to the bottom of this issue!

If a meeting does occur, nothing changes. Hell, there is no way to know what was said or done during the supposed meeting. They could have been playing Candy Crush for all anyone knows. But what this does is gain the politician time. Eventually, their constituents latch onto some other problem, like the price of eggs going up.

And the tell in all of this is Ms. Garcia’s preface of her remarks that she has supported Trump through think and thin. Uh huh. This means, “No way am I really ever going to go against Trump! It’s why I am not meeting with Trump but his designated Puppy Killer instead!”

Nothing says inhumanity more than meeting with a woman who casually shot and killed her own dog because it wasn’t a good hunting dog. Or so she says. She couldn’t have just given the dog away to a good home instead of shooting it in a gravel pit?

It’s probably why Trump picked her for head of DHS. The cruelty is the point.

And this is the person that Ms. Garcia thinks is going to give a shit about deporting her Venezuelan constituents?

But don’t worry Miami Latinos! Ms. Garcia is on the scene to help you out! As she waves good-bye to you on the airport tarmac on your deportation flight to who the fuck knows where.
