2. Raped King David’s wife to punish him for adultery:
2 Samuel 12:11–12 states word for word; Thus says the Lord, “Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will lie with your wives in broad daylight. Indeed, you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and in open daylight.’”
This should not surprise anyone who knows the Bible, as God has also given away other wives to other men.
Jeremiah 8:9–10 ” The wise men are put to shame, they are dismayed and caught; behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord, so what kind of wisdom do they have? Therefore, I will give their wives to others, their fields to new owners; because from the least even to the greatest, everyone is greedy for gain; from the prophet even to the priest, everyone practices deceit.”
Exodus 21:4 “If his master gives him a wife, and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall belong to her master, and he shall leave alone.”
3. With total forethought, created a mosquito that would go on to kill billions of people, usually the poorest and most helpless:
The most conservative estimate is that 3–6 billion have died throughout all of history. Some experts estimate the total deaths are well over 20 billion. Regardless, malaria is likely the deadliest disease in human history.
Children under 5 years old are the most vulnerable group, accounting for about 80% of malaria deaths. Sub-Saharan Africa bears the greatest burden, with over 90% of global malaria deaths.
Here is what the witty Mark Twain said about the “typhoid fly” when quoting from “Noah’s Diary.” To those who are familiar with Mark Twain’s writings, they clearly understand his motive is often much more than mere entertainment. He frequently has a serious point he wants to make.
One example of the way he entertains with silly and outrageous stories while at the same time presenting a deep and important issue is found in an entry he informs us about from the personal diary of Noah. In it, Noah writes that God was so angry at him once that He made him backtrack the ark for 16 days until he finally found and loaded the typhoid fly that his sons had neglected to load before launching the ark. Twain concluded that the fly was not left behind by accident because “all things happen for a purpose.” With all the rotting corpses around, the fly was able to gather many types of bacteria and viruses that could later be passed on when the time was right.” (Obviously, the fly was not a mosquito, but the thought is the same.)

4. Intentionally causes women to suffer great pain during childbirth, because the first woman (without the ability to know right from wrong), ate a little fruit. He also decreed that women will now serve their husband and submit to his rule:
Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you shall deliver children; yet your desire will be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
Here is another quote from Mark Twain from a letter Satan wrote to Michael and Gabriel. Satan described how hard he tried to explain to Eve what words like “obey” and “death” meant, questions she had asked him about. After many attempts to explain them, he wrote that “she was like a child who had no ability to comprehend concepts such as “obey” or “death.” She simply was completely devoid of any ability to even comprehend the difference between good or evil. So if she really wanted to know those things, she would just have to eat the fruit.”
5. Required young virgins to marry their rapist if he pays 50 shekels of silver to her father:
Deuteronomy 22:28–29 “If a man finds a girl who is a virgin, who is not betrothed, and he seizes her and has sexual relations with her, and they are discovered, then the man who had sexual relations with her shall give the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall become his wife, because he has violated her; he is not allowed to divorce her all his days.”
6. Having all power, He utterly refuses to protect children in need:
The most recent global health data shows (2023) that over 13,000 children under the age of five die every day, and most are due to preventable or treatable diseases. Most of these deaths occur in low income countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of South Asia.
Sub-Saharan Africa had the highest under-five mortality rate in 2023, at 69 deaths per 1,000 live births, which is 14 times higher than in Europe and Northern America. In contrast, high-income regions like Australia and New Zealand reported rates as low as 1.4 deaths per 1,000 live births.
There are many verses in the Bible that shows that its god cares little for the welfare of children.
1 Samuel 15:3 “Attack the Amalekites . . . put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels, and donkeys.”
Hosea 13:16 “Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.”
Deuteronomy 28:47–57 “Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness and gladness of heart . . . you shall eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you.” This is not the only verse about God and cannibalism.
7. Lot raped and impregnated both of his daughters, shortly after he offered them to a gang of sex graved men. He told the gang that they could do anything with them that they wanted to. Yet, God’s inspired book states in 2 Peter Chapter 2, twice that Lot was a righteous man and another time that he had a righteous soul:
Genesis 19:8 “Now look, I have two daughters who have not had relations with any man; please let me bring them out to you, and do to them whatever you like; only do not do anything to these men, because they have come under the shelter of my roof.”
Genesis 19:30 begins the story of Lot impregnating his daughters. It is another example of the Bible’s disrespect of women, as it outrageously blames the girls by claiming that it was the girls who got him drunk and then raped him while he was sleeping. Twice!
8. Inspired a book (allegedly to save people) that is filled with hundreds of contradictions including clear-cut errors regarding history, science, and geography:
By definition, an all-knowing and perfect god would have zero errors. The argument that the originals were perfect, but the copying by man was not, is absurd. Why make the original then if it is not protected?
Literally hundreds of them are contained in the links below.

9. Demanded genocides and authorized wholesale rapes of their captives:
Deuteronomy 21:10–13: ”When you go out to battle against your enemies, and the Lord your God delivers them into your hands and you take them away captive, and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire for her and would take her as a wife for yourself, then you shall bring her home to your house, and she shall shave her head and trim her nails. She shall also remove the clothes of her captivity and shall remain in your house, and mourn her father and mother a full month; and after that you may go in to her (that means to rape her) and be her husband and she shall be your wife.” (Rape and kidnapping were not only approved by the Bible, but they were expressly authorized as part of God’s Law):
Numbers 31:17–18 “Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known a man intimately. However, all the girls who have not known a man intimately, keep alive for yourselves.”
1 Samuel 15:3 “Now go and strike Amalek and completely destroy everything that he has, and do not spare him; but put to death both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.”
Deuteronomy 7:21–25 The Lord your God will drive out those nations before you . . . until they are destroyed. He will give their kings into your hand, and you will wipe out their names from under heaven. No one will be able to stand up against you; you will destroy them.
10. Expressly authorized slavery and sometimes commanded it:
Would the prohibition of slavery have been a good commandment?
Leviticus 25:44–46 “As for your male and female slaves whom you may have — you may acquire male and female slaves from the pagan nations that are around you. You may also acquire them from the sons of the foreign residents who reside among you, and from their families who are with you, whom they will have produced in your land; they also may become your possession. You may also pass them on as an inheritance to your sons after you, to receive as a possession; you can use them as permanent slaves. But in respect to your countrymen, the sons of Israel, you shall not rule with severity over one another.”
Exodus 21:7 “Now if a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do.”
Exodus 21:1–6: ”Now these are the ordinances which you are to set before them: If you buy a Hebrew slave, (note very carefully the different laws for the Hebrew slave versus the foreign slave), he shall serve for six years; but on the seventh he shall go out as a free man without payment. If he comes alone, he shall go out alone; if he is the husband of a wife, then his wife shall go out with him. If his master gives him a wife, and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall belong to her master, and he shall go out alone. But if the slave plainly says, ‘I love my master, my wife and my children; I will not go out as a free man,’ then his master shall bring him to God, and then he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost. And his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him permanently.”
It is incredible how often I hear Christians downplay the reality of slavery. If this is you, please take one minute and try to imagine you and your children chained inside of a transatlantic slave ship.
