Krugman had another interesting piece today, Nobody Expected the MAGA Inquisition. There was one bit that caught my eye.

Trump has complained that international students at Harvard are harmful because “we have Americans who want to go there.”

I am one who would support efforts to give Americans a leg up in admissions. It's like the preference State universities give residents which I think everyone accepts is good policy.

Here's the thing, though. TACO Belle has made it clear he is four square opposed to altering admissions standards in order to affect changes to student body composition. So to be clear, he doesn't want exceptions for Americans. He wants exceptions for white Americans.

Affirmative Action for me, but not for thee.
