You solve the "Trolley Problem" by snitching on those in power locally [1]

I think it’s time we should take back the term “snitch” this summer. Hot Snitch Summer 2025. Snitchin’ and Bitchin’ for democracy. Whatever is catchy for your people.

Donald Trump may be immune, but ICE and CBP are regular people….it’s why they learned how masks work on a 5 year time delay….they realized their actions might have consequences now.

Not masks for public safety, but anonymity for public intimidation. We don’t have a public health emergency currently so their masks and covered badges are signs of cowardice, not bravery and service.

So it’s time to snitch for public safety! Snitch about our public safety officers, after all if we are going to start having a secret police to go with our regular police, we should start by draining the swamp in the corrupt precincts, correct?

It’s not a “boycott”, it’s “The Amish Tactic”….shunning. Fascism 1.0 was the printing press, 2.0 was broadcast waves, 3.0 is now the digital media landscape….we've been here before.

Since MAGA is focused on a weird version of history, use your historical knowledge against them. The religious persecution that the Jamestown and Massachusetts settlers fled England from aren’t what you thought in elementary school. It was wave after wave of the most extreme, defeated rebels from various countries.

Australia is commonly referenced as being a “prison colony”….America has never faced the fact that we were founded as the social-Darwinian playground of post-Luther protestant extremist factions.

Look at England more closely in the 1600s, that's the “V for Vendetta” Guy Fawkes blows up Parliament times. Guy Fawkes wasn’t a good guy, they wanted to create a “New Jerusalem” in London...a home for the Jews so that they could create a world pure enough for Christ to return. Sound “Mike Huckabee like?”

End Times Fascism 1.0 was in the 1600s. 2.0 was the 1800s (also called the “Second Great Awakening”….Mayan apocalypse version 1892 or whatever.). History isn’t cyclical, it’s full of PT Barnum quote level gullible new people born everyday. Psychology teaches us that there are two ways children learn about burns from fire/stoves:

1. Don’t do that, it’s hot.

2. I touched the hot thing, you also shouldn’t touch hot thing.

Some people cannot be told fascism is just the worst, they need to experience it being awful. So here’s where we get back to the Trolley problem. The Martial Law problem we as a nation now face. I took a religious history detour in order to focus very singularly on ICE and CBP agents before July 4th picnic times.

1600s history tells us that the town executioner lived on the outskirts, modern film and TV lore shows us that it was often near the town witch or magician. USE HISTORY AND THE AMISH TACTIC AS YOUR GUIDE …...the executioner was an outcast in those towns. Shun the entire families of this version of the SS/SA, the entire families are not welcome at your home. If you attend events at the homes of your friends and someone who has a family member working for either….you immediately leave.

Make it painful like Aldo Raine in “Inglorious Bastards”, THAT’S THE POINT….PEER PRESSURE. Other jobs exist. Other jobs existed around Auschwitz and Sobibor and Treblinka and so on. THEY HAVE ONE LAST CHANCE TO TAKE OFF THIS UNIFORM. They have seen what has already happened, there is no middle ground, they need to live with their choices….but also realize that those choices are a legacy their children carry. Their children will forever know they sided with the bad guys in the movies they watched together growing up. That’s child abuse with a delayed fuse.

So where does the snitching part come into play?

Snitching is based on a phrase I heard a stand up comic say once upon a time “snitching on white people is my version of reparations” . Trump is immune, but Hegseth isn’t. Turn that attention locally, the people raiding your favorite restaurant on Friday night probably drunk drive or abuse a family member.

If the trolley and deportation camp plans are in motion and people are cheering for others to be hurt, just move the “German Trolley enthusiasts” closer to the front of the line. I’m not advocating harm, I’d rather we not run the German trolleys anymore. I’m simply applying the Mario Savio “bodies upon the gears speech” to a machine, an apparatus that needs both metaphorical and literal gears in order to grind people down still in 2025.

Snitching on actual public safety officers is dangerous, “The Departed” is one of many movies about this topic. Snitching on your local MAGA creep isn’t, in fact….we’ve been told to do so for a while now....we aren’t being subversive and selectively profiling people based on their appearances....we are just following orders, we’ve been told to find the “Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing”, the “snakes in the garden of Eden”.

After all, if we were being truly subversive and punk rock, we’d move “Moral Mondays” to Sundays…. ”THE QUASIMODO STRATEGY” . Maybe call it “Sanctuary Sundays” and tell the MAGA folks that on Jesus’ day you’ll be doing your “SS duty”. The use of movie terms and historical language is intentional, think like Deadpool and make every reference political or German history related for 2025. Call it your “Project 2025” if you will.

Why did I say “Quasimodo Strategy”? I did it to tie the recent Notre Dame repairs to a classic tale in both written and animated format. There’s a scene where Quasimodo yells “Sanctuary!” over and over again above the cheering crowd of Paris. Sanctuary cities are being targeted, this is an easy reminder that sanctuary is good, sanctuary is religious. Churches are still public places that offer sanctuary correct? Seems like a good place to protest nearby in a loud but peaceful way in the morning. A weekly devotional if you will.

”Spotlight” won Best Picture in 2016, I ASSURE you that same rot that infected the Catholic church exists in Protestant church elders and pastors, they just abuse their children into suicide or drugs or homelessness instead of abusing or grooming an altar boy. Your local church had a creepy abusive guy with a family moving frequently, not the priest.

There isn’t a MAGA wave of young men, Trump doesn’t have expanding demographics…..he has an archetype. View it more in the CBS/CSI crime show reality TV filter…. less supporters as individual voters and more the psychological profile of a likely viewer. These are either young men who haven’t been abused by their fathers, young men gaslit by their fathers, or young men who are themselves already abusers. Or young women in the pre-Stepford wife lane or young men with older cousins or brothers, pick your family member combination.

Abusive fathers should not celebrate another Father’s Day. Trump is immune, but federal agents can’t abuse citizens if they are in divorce or child custody or civil or criminal court. Take tactics from their favorite sport…. chew the clock, waste their time…..because you are saving someone innocent with the distraction. Maybe many people, maybe their own family who will never speak up. Sandusky at Penn State and the Chicago Blackhawks 2010 cover-up are signs coaches will cover up for others. Family of Gabby Petito’s murderer would offer to hide a body. People that commit cover-ups support the criminals, it’s why cases go cold and remain unsolved, they aren’t neutral.

It’s not enough to say you believe victims, since 9/11 we’ve been told ”if you see something, say something”….lots of people know secrets that they should be sharing. Not everything is risky like being a whistleblower in internal affairs. From either a secular or a religious view, its the right thing to do, turn in the criminal.

People in prison awaiting trial get life sentences for bragging to a cell mate. Your local weirdo or creep isn’t likely to be the Golden State Killer or the Gilgo Beach “Gone Girls” killer, but those people only escalate to violent crimes because excuses were made for their prior bad behavior. And they use local authority as a shield to investigations.

So follow the “Amish Tactic” and shun the people that use religion to justify their bad behavior. Explain you’ll welcome them back, prodigal son style, after they finish their “Trump-spring-a”.
