As life goes on, there are in countries across the waters, crude graves being dug to bury the victims of the cancellation of the USAID programs. A lot of them are already filled, because we live in a materialistic, sadistic world.

As life goes on, there are hundreds of people in the deadliest, cruelest prison that has ever been built, after the concentration camps of the holocaust, for the grievous crime of having crossed into the United States.

As life goes on, children in universities in America, have exchanged sleep for fear, toss and turn restlessly asking themselves when will the masked men come for them.

-----

As life goes on, there are toddlers and infants, calling for their parents who never came home, wondering where they are, not knowing where they ended up, or even if they still live.

-----

As life goes on, people who went through the proper channels, who did things the right way, fear going to their scheduled meetings with the US Government where they could be arrested and deported for doing things the right way.

-----

As life goes on, people who accepted to come to the United States and given protection status by the United States, are now in need of protection from the United States government.

-----

As life goes on, the archives of history of the United States are being scrubbed clean of the names of all those who contributed to its greatness but who do not today fit the image of what an American should look like.

As life goes on, the United States is betraying its allies, reneging on treaties and deals made in the past and encouraging its enemies to slaughter their former allies.

-----

As life goes on, parents are helping their children learn the 10 commandments under the cruel gaze of their President who has broken every single one of them.

-----

As life goes on, women are being told to put their studies away and go back to the kitchen and prepare to birth children without the benefits of modern medicine

-----

As life goes on, on the streets of the United States of America, people with Black and Brown skins are being hunted by masked men and disappeared into the belly of the beast.

-----

As life goes on, in the United States of America, fear is spreading, fear is growing, courage is faltering, hope is fading…. Freedom is losing ground in the land of the free and courage has become rare in the home of the brave.
