TACO attacks Elon right where it hurts : money - big update with 2 bombshells [1]

It was bound to happen with Musk starting his attack on the Big Ugly Bill as an "abomination" and continuing, with a good shot yesterday using a poster of Uma Thurman from the "Kill Bill" movie. Trump decided to do a snark attack.

"Elon was 'wearing thin,' I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars..."

Wearing thin. At least Elon didn't snotty about it. He just attacked the bill, not Donald personally.

"... that nobody else wanted (that he knew for a month I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY!"

Many people pegged Elon's hatred of the bill was partly about the EV tax breaks. And he calls Musk "crazy." We've been saying that since he bought Twitter.

Trump thought that wasn't enough, so a second shot across the bow.

"... save money... is to terminate Elon's Governmental Subsidies and Contracts."

We still need SpaceX to get astronauts back and forth from the ISS. Other stuff, not so much. Wait, we still do need Starlink to help Ukraine. Don't cancel that one. Or maybe he'd do it out of his own pocket as he once said he might do. Who knows?

"I was always surprised that Biden didn't do it!"

Because it was a President and a valid government contractor fulfilling a service at a cost way below the NASA Space Launch System.

TACO has thrown down the gauntlet. Next move Musk. Well, actually Elon shot first this morning before Trump. The text got fuzzy in compression, but it's Trump tweets going back a decade that make Trump look like a fiscal fool.

Donald just couldn't wait to get the last word in. It's more like a jilted lover.

"I don't mind Elon turning against me, but he should have done so months ago."

It's a whine. The whole world wishes he had done so months ago. Then the government wouldn't have been destroyed by DOGE. He could have started attacking your tariffs before you got into full swing. He could have greased the palms of Representatives and Senators to keep things in his business out of the budget bill.

"... Greatest Bills...Record Cut in Expenses... Biggest Tax Cut ever... "

He hasn't read the 1,100 page Big Ugly Bill, so how would he know?

Then he repeats the 68% increase in taxes claim if the bill doesn't pass. No one has any idea where this came from. Republicans have said that it means 68% of the American taxpayers would see an increase.

But he says it directly:

"If this Bill doesn't pass, there will be a 68% Tax Increase... "

So, it's just made up. And then he finishes with only I can fix it.

There were more posts by Musk, and then a bombshell.

The bombshell was reported by the New York Times, and many others.

Finally got a screenshot of it:

Musk: "Time to drop the really big bomb. @realdonaldtrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!"

Unsurprisingly, news organizations have gotten no response from the White House about the Epstein claim.

Then there was still another bombshell with Musk agreeing that Trump should be impeached:
