I Agreed With Josh Marshall About The "Feud" Between Musk And Trump, But We Could Be Wrong. [1]

I have to admit that I too am skeptical that Musk and Trump have a real feud going on. Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo outlines the various reasons why there may not really be a break up between these two malignant narcissists. If Trump really wanted to fuck around with Musk, Trump might start canceling some of those government contracts that Musk got. It would be a real threat and a kick in the balls to Musk. Frankly, I thought this whole screaming match of late was an act to distract us from the fact that Musk has stolen all that government data and DOGE is still actively destroying the government. Musk doesn’t really have to be in D.C. anymore because his flying monkeys are still destroying everything in the government that helps people, and Trump is still only a phone call away from Musk.
So is it all a con job?
Josh Marshall is still “agnostic” on the supposed break up. Even with Musk’s latest attempt at pissing on the Big, Beautiful Turd Bill, Marshall says this smacks of loserdom. His take — and this part is true — is that Musk has the stench of a loser about him. And Musk has not used some of his vast wealth to run advertisements in states and congressional districts to pressure senators to vote against the bill.
But maybe the acrimony is rising because I just saw this:
Now, I have my doubts that Musk got to take a real look at the Epstein Files. He’s too much of a drug addict and was too busy looting other information I think to have the presence of mine to hack those files. The Occam’s Razor explanation is that Musk is simply speculating like the rest of us that Trump is in the Epstein files. Everyone except MAGA dummies has seen the video and pictures of Trump with Epstein.
But this is definitely upping the pissing contest just a bit IMHO. All the other shit Musk was flinging would have done the trick to say to the legacy media and MAGA, “We are no longer allies.” From what I understand of MAGA, anyone who veers the least little bit from Trump is a traitor. MAGA lunatics approve that their congresspeople and senators are rubber stamps for Trump, at least to the MAGA focus groups by Sarah Longwell.
Anyway, we will see.
